This collar is amazing! I searched for months to find the right ecollar for my husky and this one has been a god send.

If this tool is used properly, it is a legitimate game changer to the overly smart pup who knows when they’re no longer on a long lead. Out of 100 settings, our 10 month old Czech/DDR working line GSD went from a joker to a worker on 18. One quick tap of the stim and she figured out right away what she was suppose to be doing. Battery life is good, connection is reliable. Light is BRIGHT!

I love the collars and the distance. Only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the battery life. I have to charge it every night. So if I camp I have to find a way to keep them charged the entire trip. Other than that I love them

So I have tried 5 different e collars for our 2 dogs (<20 pounds). The collar is a buckle type and a little difficult to get on anxious dogs. I tied the buckle accessory collar $$ but it could not be made small enough so sent those back. The remote took a little bit to figure out that it is either Beep/Tone or vibration. Not both. We use vibration and it gets their attention sometimes. Would be nice if this could have a stronger level. The shock definitely works well and we only use it on a very low level when needed. We like the light and use it in the early mornings to help keep track of the dogs in the dark. My biggest downside besides the cost is the battery life. I can only use the collars for 2 day's (about 12 hours a day) before the battery dies and they have to be charged. These collars are still a keeper but others should know you will have to charge nightly to make sure they aren't dead when you need them.

I tried other less expensive brands; however, they did not control my 95 lb dog. This is what I had previously & paid the price to keep my dog safe from harm .

Seriously… my intelligent but hyper and stubborn Bernedoodle has made a 360 degree turn around. Although she is very intelligent and was a breeze to potty train and teach basic commands… she was completely out of control with any external stimuli. It was a constant battle to keep her from bullying her small older sister and her cat brother. I could not manage her on lead as she is huge and strong… she would grab the lead in her mouth and about take me down!Since starting training with the etrainer K-9 Handler… she has made a 360 turn around! I watched you tube videos instructing the best way to use the trainer… I did have to put the level up to 20 to get the slightest acknowledgment from her… but once she did… she only had to be at this level when I missed her bullying behavior escalating. So we are both learning… she is calmer…more focused… little to no bullying of her siblings… less mouthing on leash and in general… mindful of outdoor boundaries and has stopped plowing down her little sister outdoors. The energy in the home is now calm and safe for my other pets… and she is very focused and obedient to commands. Literally a miracle in my opinion. I had researched and researched and settled on the K9 as my girl became even more aggressive or hyper with at any form of correction or rewarding. I was concerned that the typical shock of a collar might cause more issues. I also love the light on the collar… really useful. I have only used the vibrate/pulse correction once …when she was running towards the road… I have never had to use it again.What I dislike… the bungee collar is pretty useless… the bungee is so stiff… it really doesn’t work as one would hope. Having a buckle collar is a pain.. having a click collar would be very helpful. Some complain about setting up the collar for use… I personally had no difficulty… but it is more complicated than the average shock collars out there. It would be helpful to have a basic training manual. I was very surprised to see the proper way to use a training collar… so would recommend watching the many videos on you tube. Also…the battery life is less than stellar. I recharge every night… not a game changer as I don’t want to leave the collar on overnight anyway. I really don’t hear the tone for tone correction… and from what I can gather… it is paired with vibrate.Having the around the neck lanyard is helpful too… it helps me take advantage of training opportunities at any given moment… and be consistent. Happy with my purchase so far!

The battery on the collar only lasts 8-10 hrs. The unit itself is great quality, read the user manual as there is a learning curve. The only complaint is the battery life on the collar is minimal. I would recommend getting the upgraded contact points titanium extra 15 bucks and the buckle collar extra 20 bucks. Lol it should be standard for an extra few bucks. That way they have a good collar with contact points that do not irritate a dogs skin. I get the world is built on the lowest bidder. Give us an option to get the good option.
