I bought 300 to put in a 25 cent vending machine during our book fair and they sold out in a day. I bought another 300 hundred and they sold out in a day. Our school only has 430 students. The kids liked the colors and the smell. Like all these novelty pencils they have a plastic coating that peals a little when sharpening and they are more prone to breaking when sharpening than really quality #2 pencils.

I got these pencils for Kindness Week at our elementary school. The students could participate in "kindness" activities all week and they can redeem a prize for these scented pencils.These pencils are cute in design with fruits or vegetables. The colors aren't very vibrant so this could be suitable for older kids too. The scents aren't very strong though, but I wouldn't necessarily say that's a bad thing. I'm sure there are other brands with stronger scents.They don't break easily and are easy to sharpen. The lead color isn't a dark black as traditional pencils but they'll do fine when writing.

I love the quantity of pencils provided. However, some of the pencils were harder to smell or decipher.

My students use these as currency. They trade other things for their favorite pencils. I like that the pencils sharpen easily and stay sharp without breaking.
