A lot to intrigue fans and curiosity seekers alike.
A lot to intrigue viewers here. Interesting personal interviews and inviting concert footage from across the major cities in South America. Few bands can command such a fan following but this is made easier to understand by the sheer number of classic songs the Stones have come up with over the years. If you're a Stones fan you probably have this. The only disappointing aspect of this documentary is that too little time is spent on attempting to depict the energy and vibrancy of the cities themselves apart from Buenos Aires. I personally would liked to have seen more footage on Santiago, Montevideo, and Bogota for instance with respect to the anticipation and energy levels from fans leading up to the show as well as more on the cities themselves. As stated, this is shown really well in Argentina. It just felt there was too little time focused on that aspect. That would have made this documentary much more interesting. Still it's pretty good overall.

Fun Documentary
Disclosure: I actually went to show in Lima, Peru so I might be a little bias. I enjoyed this documentary. I will say it does feel more like an extended behind the scenes documentary you usually get on a concert DVD than a full fledged documentary. Still there are a lot of great shots of the different South American cities and if you are a Rolling Stones fan you will enjoy all the footage of the band members. Also, in the bonus features there are quite a bit of concert footage and the band sounds great!

Documentary of the band's South America and Cuba tour
Ole Ole Ole is not just a concert film, it is a documentary of the Rolling Stones' tour of South and Central America, including a final concert in Cuba, in 2016. The film was released theatrically and on pay movie channels before being released on DVD and BluRay.Most of the actual stage performances are incomplete, and I believe there is a creative decision behind that. The film focuses on the fans in each of the countries the band performs. The most striking story is of the Rolingas in Argentina, a group of fans who have elevated being a fan to a lifestyle choice. That segment alone made me want to go to Argentina and hang out with these people. The film follows the band to each country. The band reflects on the culture of each country and look back on previous visits. There are probably more interviews with fans than with the band, and that's a good thing. Interwoven throughout the film is an account of the preparations for the Havana show. Those kinds of behind the scenes vignettes are fascinating. The Havana show is the climax of the film, and as such, contain the only complete performance of a song that appears in the film. It is a fitting ending. Yet sadly, recent announcements of the US governments roll back of ending the Cuba embargo are in the news. The Havana show may become an interesting curio in the long debacle of US-Cuba relations.I loved watching this film and I will watch it again, if just to see the segment on the Argentina Rolingas.

Ole' el Rolling Stones
This is one of the best Stones concert films ever. Because of the beautiful countries they visit. The obvious bond and love between the people and the band. Lots of local flavor shown. All leads to the concert in Havana. Which was difficult on many levels to pull off. The band is great as usual. Many people in tears as the reality of this event. It's very touching. Very well shot, it looks awesome, sounds great. Recommend it highly.

Much more than just a concert
Watched it twice to catch everything that is packed into this very entertaining video. The Stones are a great band that have aged gracefully.

impresionante

Travel Latin America with the Stones
Follow the Stones thru their 2016 Latin America tour culminating in the Havana Moon free concert in Cuba. Mick Keith and Ron mingle with the locals.Turn on the English subtitles, as there is a ton of Spanish dialogue that isn't subtitled otherwise. The film has a nice mix of live footage too, which can also be watched separately, making for a mini hi-lite concert extra.I didn't know the band was scolded by the Pope for playing the Cuba show on Good Friday. This was unfortunate, as the show had already been moved from its original date, due to a conflict with Obama's sudden visit.Woody's visit to a local pool hall, with his full grown son in tow, was a nice bit.The film is beautifully shot. Very colourful. Well paced.Jagger's vocals are strong, still with a hint of menace, although Keith seems to play with a perma-grin plastered to his face. This aint the outlaw-Keith of old.Good film. Worth a couple of initial viewings.
