VLFit foam rollers can help improve stability and flexibility. Extremely hard wearing and ideal for home or gym use. Helps improve stability and flexibility and great for promoting stabilization, core strength and balance training. The use of foam rollers has exploded over the past ten years and will continue to increase. Athletic trainers in schools and college situations can teach their athletes to perform hands on treatment that might not have been possible due to work schedules, while strength and conditioning coaches can provide a form of massage therapy to all of their athletes. Foam rollers are a small investment to make to see a potentially significant decrease in the number of soft tissue/non-contact injuries. Shock absorbent material makes the foam roller the perfect fitness aid for stretching and body strengthening. As well as being lightweight, this hard wearing roller has a 'sponge like' feel for a firm comfortable grip.

Not firm enough, dents easily and doesn't roll on floor properly due to crushing under body weight.
My girlfriend and myself tried it out and you can't roll on the floor properly. It compresses down and pushes along the floor. Not ideal when you're trying to roll on your spine muscles with full body weight. Even rolling on just your legs compresses it.The images need updating, because that's false advertising showing how long they supposedly look. If I had seen the description says 45cm, I would not have bought it. (I unfortunately went off the photos without reading the description.)These are more for light, small teenagers. My girlfriend is about 60kg and I am obviously heavier.

Split after one use - shame
The foam roller wasn't really attached at one end when it arrived and split after one use (I'm 60kg... and was barely using any pressure) . It also arrived several days after the Prime Next Day Delivery estimate.I didn't want to write a bad review as it's still "somewhat functional" but then again, you could pay just a few pounds more for something that will actually work and be reliable.

Comfortable to Use
I previously purchased a stippled "foam roller", which was actually manufactured of rigid plastic. This pressed so hard into muscles that it was unusable. By contrast, this VLFit roller is not stippled and it is made of lightweight foam, which I find considerably more comfortable to use. For me, 45cm is sufficiently wide to enable simultaneous use on both hamstrings, if required.

Too light, doesn't do the job
I got this roller to hell me keep healthy before my hip operation. This thing kept slipping everywhere because it is too light. I thought having no notches would make it more comfortable but I was was wrong on that part. I think this roller would be better if it were longer, smaller and heavier with a rubber coating to prevent slip.I wouldnt buy it again but I do use it in the pool, makes a good small noodle for legs š

So far so good... nice for sore tight muscles
The roller is so far feeling very robust and handles my weight when Iām rolling my back. Other has cracked under my weight (17 stone). Without different steps and groves it gives an even massage so even the most soar muscles get worked without you being in agony.

Useful bit of physio kit
I use it supine, behind my knees, pressing down. It is made of hard foam which is not comfortable. I use it together with other, mostly pilates, exercises so it's effectiveness with respect to pain relief in my knees is unclear. A very firm roller made of soft foam would be better.

Good but hard to start
Does what it needs to do but VERY hard (and quite painful to use) when it first arrived but has soften with use.Iām only 5ā1āā but could see size being an issue if you want to stretch lengthways and are quite tall.

Love the product
Love the product, hate rolling though because of the sheer pain it causes, but the roller is a good size and firmness for rolling out all muscles in the body.
