If you use mason jars this is a must! Why didn’t I get one sooner

Fit like a glove on my wide mouth mason jar. The jar already has a handle so just needed the lid. Highly recommend.

I bought this hoping to be able to use a mason jar as my daily water bottle, so I was a little skeptical that it would hold up for very long. However, after getting the thing, I have to say it's pretty solid. The plastic is beefy in all the right places, and the lid shuts securely without leaking. I can even shake it without holding the lid closed, though I don't intend to see how long that lasts. The design of the threads and the placement of the oring was well executed, too. The lid screws on easily and does not leak, but unlike many mason jar lids it doesn't take a gorilla to get it off. The opening is nice and wide, so it works well with smoothies, but not so wide that drinking water from it results in getting your beard wet. (If you have one) The lid does have a tendency to touch my nose while I'm drinking, so make sure you wipe it if you're chugging a chocolate protein shake or something, because if you don't you'll have it on your nose.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this lid.

Awesome! I finally found my water bottle. I really like the idea of drinking water from glass...I go to all the trouble of filtering my water through a Berkey Filter, and then I put it in plastic? Stainless steel just doesn't taste right. But-- I am super clumsy. Why would I want to spend a bunch of money on a fancy glass water bottle if I am just going to break it? Aha! I can spend $5 on a lid, that doesn't leak, is easy to put on, I don't have to unscrew, and fits my mouth very nicely...(clumsy people often end up with water all over their face from a wide mouth bottle.) And I can get great looking mason jars for about a dollar each from my hardware store. (Funny enough, they are more expensive here on Amazon, and are technically shipped from Walmart because it is a Walmart brand.) So when I break it = no biggie. This product has finally ended the water bottle search for me. Thank Goodness!

A year ago I bought ReCaps for my Ball jars, to hold my cold brew. That was an upgrade to the usual lids and made my morning much easier/cleaner but my big complaint was that it would leak if not tightened with the hand of god which made removing the cap next to impossible. Also the tab would close on itself any time you’d try to pour from the cap, making it a two hand task. This Country Line Kitchen cap took all the convenience of the ReCap and fixed those two flaws. The cap glides on and off with ease with no leaking when you pour, and the tab stays open as you pour. Doesn’t seem like much to ask for, but it’s amazing to have. My one request would be more colors so I can keep mine and my wife’s cold brew apart, we have different tastes in coffee.Never thought I’d be so excited for a cap...Thanks for making it!
