Dan PostMen's Blayde Work Boot

Don’t waste your money....appearances only!
Having owned these boots for a year now I would not recommend purchase them as I will never again waste my money on them. I bought thane because I was always under the impression that dan post were good boots. At about 8 months in the boots were no longer waterproof. The welt began cracking and the dissimilar sections of rubber on the sole started peeling. The insole and lining became detached from the boot making them extremely difficult and annoying to remove. The interior (insulated which I generally despise) smells awful. These boots are worn every day at least 12 hours a day. I am a mechanic by trade and have a family farm that I also maintain. These boots are often wet and usually “oiled” weekly (hydraulic, 15w-40 and so on) The leather has survived beautifully however at about 10 months in the seems of the leather began failing. The steel shank rotted and migrated around.....generally garbage so disappointed. If you want to look like you work they may be great. If you actually work don’t bother, your value is better served with a pair of Chinese made Georgia Boots from TSC. Me....I’m going back to Ariats in the mean time.

Solid--Stylish Work Boot--Five Stars
Love these boots! The leather is excellent quality...the stitching is straight and true. And (once broken in) they're pretty comfortable. They are fully waterproof...my feet stayed dry even standing in several inches of water. And most importantly....they have held up spectacularly well under harsh work conditions for the first month of wear. (I'll update if that changes). For me the only issue was sizing. I wear a 10.5 in most shoes....and 11 in athletic shoes. I ordered the 10.5 ...it was definitely a size too big. Exchanged for the size 10, which is a decent fit....but now fully broken in...even the 10 is rather roomy. Since I'll be wearing multiple socks in these come winter...it's probably for the best.

Disappointing
Bought based on reviews, full leather construction, water proof. Boots fit well and are true to size. The problem I have is the lining coming out of the boot with my foot, the glue is not holding it down. I wanted these to finally be the good boot I’ve been looking for. Materials are good but construction is shoddy.

worst boot ever owned
I bought these boots mainly for their water proof feature. they arrived looking nice and had a good fit, but within a month they began to fall apart. the left inner heel seam has started to come apart which has caused the support in that area to completely collapse causing my foot to pronate to the point I can no longer wear them. the sole is starting to separate as well. unfortunately soon after purchasing these I bought a pair for my son and his are starting to fall apart as well. it is too late to return them, so they will be taking a trip to the dumpster. don't waste your money on these.

Wear a good sock. They will feel a little large at first.
Everyone likes a different fit. I was worried when I bought these that they were too big. I wear a 12 in most sizes and ordered a 12. It came in and I had too much space (I thought) after a week or two of regular wearing (two three times a week) these are the most comfortable boot I have ever had. I will buy again if these ever wear out. Wear a good sock and get some work done will ya?
