Adorable
These are so cute love that you can turn them on and off with a twist.

Inexpensive, mostly cosmetic, LED wheel lights
This review is for a pair of Brightz Orbit LED spoke lights in red. They're 2 small LED light pucks that attach to your bicycle wheel spokes for night riding LED light effects. It will make your bike more visible, however if that's your goal, there are better products out there for that purpose. They install easily on any wheel with metal spokes. These are turned on and off manually by twisting the disc, so don't forget to turn them off after your done riding. They're powered by 2 small button cell batteries, which can be a hassle to source and replace. I would've preferred rechargeable batteries instead, even if the price went up to $20 it would be worth it.As someone else mentioned, these lights are unidirectional and only shine one way. So if you mount them on the left side of the wheel, they will only shine in that direction. If you want to be seen on both sides, you'll have to get another pair and mount them on the right side of your wheel(s).They are inexpensive and provide some nice night riding light effects, so 3 stars for that. Minus for button cell batteries, manual on-off switching, and light in only 1 direction.

Novelty Lights
We are a family of cyclists, with one issue. Our nine-year-old absolutely hates getting on his bike. We have done everything in our power to get him on his bike and riding with us, but he is terrified. While I try very hard to not force him to do anything that is dangerous, I am trying very hard to get him to step out of his comfort-zone. I feel like this is a life lesson relating to not backing away from the things that scare us. I tell you all this because I got these bike wheel lights in hopes of making riding more fun for my son. It did not work. He was so disappointed when he unwrapped these lights on Christmas morning. I guess this is how pageant moms feel when their daughters don’t like dresses. My dreams of riding cross-country with my son are to never be. All that said, these lights are just okay. The safety lights I have on my road bike turn on with centrifugal movement, so I do not have to turn them on and off. These lights have to be turned on and off. If you forget to turn them off, they will stay on and the battery will die. Maybe not the best for children who do not pay attention to turning lights on and off. These lights are also quite thin and do not feel very sturdy. They say they are “weather-proof”, but I would have some genuine concern with riding in the rain with them because I do not think they are actually waterproof. This is fine for a casual rider, but someone who rides rain or shine might have some issues. All in all, these feel like novelty lights and not something I would want to use on a 100-mile ride.

Great bike safety idea, straightforward to mount on wheels and use, bright, night safety device
This set of spoke lights is a colorful safety item that installs on your tire spokes to make your bike stand out, especially helpful at night for visibility. It is not as simple as it looks to install - however, it comes with very good directions on how to mount it securely on your wheels, regardless of the type of wheels and size of bike. The brightness is the best quality - you will be seen at night when you turn it on and the effect can not be ignored by drivers and people on the street. It is a 3-5 minute process to get it right but after that, it will stay securely and work smoothly. You will need to change batteries, so it does take some maintenance to keep it going. Otherwise, it is a good investment for safely riding your bike. Recommended.

Fun novelty for kids
Instructions are very easy, unbox and clip on the wire of the bike wheel. My boys like them and they are fun when they are riding at dusk or when its dark out. These are not really visible from behind so I would not buy them if you are looking for "safety" of riding at night (in fact if your kids are trying to look at them while they are riding it might even be less safe)The only reason I took off one star is that you have to twist to turn on/off and my boys don't remember to turn them off, however battery replacement is quick and easy. These would be amazing if they could detect movement and then turn on but it works for what it is
