Loved it!
Logan has every reason to be grumpy, but when he meets beautiful, single mom Rayne she shakes up his world and catches his full attention.I enjoyed the banter and push-pull between Logan and Rayne, and was on the edge of my seat waiting for the unexpected connection between them to come to light. Logan was fantastic with Jax.An overall entertaining and exciting read.

Single mom
I think the premise of this book is pretty good. It was pretty obvious what the 3rd act conflict was going to be, but I was a little let down in how it played out. Didn't really ring true for the character Logan was built up to be.

Best hockey romance I've read in awhile!
I've read a few books by Roxanne Tully lately and they're all absolutely wonderful! This is probably my favorite! Rayne and Logan just mesh together so well to me and I love how they both really dislike hockey, but for completely different reasons. Their relationship starts off with some secrets being withheld that eventually they'll have to work through. I also adore how Logan changes everything for Rayne's little boy. It's clear that they all have a deep connection from the start. Just a super sweet story! It made me want to read every book of hers that I could get my hands on.

Sport Romance
New author for me but will be looking at other books this author had written.Really enjoyable read.Loved the gritty characters, Max was written to dislike him and you hated the guy. A good mix of sport, drama and romance combined.

Issues but still really enjoyed it
Logan's hockey was stopped short due to an injury to his arm. He opened up a sporting goods store in the town his sister was living in once his recovery was done as he didn't want to leave her. When single mom Rayne walks into his story to by her son baseball cleats that he doesn't want a spark is ignited between Logan and Rayne. A spark that neither one wants to ignore when they both know that they should. It irked me that Rayne kept going on and on about how everyone in this town knew who she was and who her son was; everyone looked at her the wrong way because of her ex and her baby daddy. But Logan didn't know and it was a huge secret that she couldn't tell him. She wanted to but couldn't. Yes I get this was the ultimate conflict of the story but it was dumb. If that is what you wanted the conflict to be then don't drone on and on about how everyone knows who you and your son are and who his baby daddy is. I saw all of this coming from a mile away and all the "everyone knows who we are" comments rubbed me the wrong way. Also the conflict resolution totally threw me for a loop. One second one character was saying the other lied and there was no forgiveness and the next they were doing this big grand gesture when I felt that the other character should be doing the gesture and that kinda rubbed me wrong. But I still felt that Logan and Rayne were fun. They had some pretty good banter. Logan really bonded with Rayne's son and that was super endearing to me. I liked the growth that Logan went through with his recovery and with Rayne and his sister. I know it sounds like I am complaining more than I liked this book but despite the above issues I still enjoyed this one.

Excellent Book!
Rayne is the ex-wife of an NHL player raising their son on her own. She tries to discourage her son from playing hockey, but he insists. Logan is an ex NHL player who was brutally hurt by Rayne’s ex-husband. Logan offers to work with Rayne’s son on hockey without knowing who his dad is and he starts seeing Rayne. By the time the truth comes out, Logan can’t accept that Rayne wasn’t honest with him earlier. This book was hard to put down. Definitely easy to connect with the MCs and feel for both of them.

Cute and Sporty
Cute with a dash of suspense.Rayne and Logan have their separate reasons why they hate hockey. But they have to confront the past and move forward as individuals and together.I liked the story between Logan and Rayne though I wish the humongous elephant in the room was addressed sooner. Their mutual attraction was instantaneous but took its time to lead to one heck of a coupling. Throw in a cute kid and you have a good recipe for a solid romance.

Adorable story with strong mmc
I really like this story. It was a fast read with a happy ever after. Sometimes the fmc annoyed me because I just wanted her to say the thing but it was adorable and the mmc was the best to the kid which always makes the story better
