Himalayan Salt Lamp Cord with Dimmer Switch and One Bulb Set of 2

These are the best switches I have bought here. They all look alike, but trust me...after buying over 60 sets from different vendors/sellers they ARE different. I do events with lamps and ordered at one place (which I had ordered before a few times) and it took over a month to get her. So I ordered 10 sets of these to get out of bind. I'm glad I did. These are a much better quality, got here super quick, and was only $1.00 more. I could've saved myself a HUGE HEADACHE If I had order here in the first place.If you want quality, reliability, and no headaches. I would suggest these. AND BE CAREFUL when ordering and watch when the delivery date is promised by. If it says 2 months or 6 weeks, chances are it could be just that!!

I bought this to replace my old salt lamp cord that wore out after nearly a decade of loyal service. When I purchased the cord, I had some concern that the bulb socket would not feel secure in my salt lamp as the spring arms that hold it weren't specifically designed for my salt lamp or that parts of the cord would feel cheaply made. When I installed the cord in my old lamp and turned it on for the first time, I was relieved that I felt happy with my purchase and certain that this was a quality product.Pros:-The resistance in the spring arms give the socket area a secure feel against the sides of the lamp base.-The dimmer dial makes a light clicking noise so you know that you are turning it on/off. It has a minor amount of resistance as you click it on/off and less resistance as you turn the dial, but not so much resistance that you couldn't push it around with a finger as long as the base that the dial is on is securely held/fastened. This gives it the feel and function of a quality product.As a contrast, I have another salt lamp with an on/off switch (not a dimmer) that feels like it was made as cheaply as possible. The on/off switch wiggles loosely when you go to turn it on and has no resistance or solid clicking into the "on" or "off" position, thus easily turns off by accident or by moving the switch base.-UL certification allows you to feel safe about using the cord without the concern of it being a poorly made fire hazard.Cons:-It would be nice if there were a second grip point to hold the spring arm more securely underneath the socket hole at the base. This is a minor gripe though, as the socket area feels secure and the spring holds it well anyway.

Junk! This purchase was an attempt to replace the dimmers on 2 previously purchased salt lamps that failed soon after I started using. Received these replacements dimmers and same problem. Stops working bulb works in other sockets so I believe the problem is in dimmer switch itself. Very disappointed, 2 salt , 4 dimmers later still can’t use lamps.

This dimmer switched worked perfectly as a replacement that came with my salt lamp. Packaging was secure.****unfortunately i have to change my review. This cord stopped working in less than six months after purchase.

I have an older Himalayan Salt Bowl that came with the original switch that kept breaking. They have since moved all of the bowls and Himalayan products to a Dimmer switch. As my bowl is older, this socket didn't fit my bowl but it only required a small amount of drilling to make the socket hole big enough.As for the switch itself. Works great. Appears more sturdy than the older switches. Dimmer can go very bright or very dim. Works great.

Exactly what I needed! I found the salt blocks at a thrift store without the lamps. I made a bass with three plastic lids from vitamin bottles and it looks really nice. I especially like the adjustable switch that allows you to dim the light

Easy to install! I can now leave my salt lamp on at night because it can be dimmed. Too bad the lamp seller doesn't include a dimmable switch to start.

Fantastic price, fantastic product! I had bought 2 salt lamps while overseas with the European plugs, I was worried about buying a US plug and it working properly....these were perfect - fit and look. I like my salt lamps even more with the dimmers.
