A hardy predictable red pencil, 20045
I am a genealogist who is employed as a reviewer/verifier of applications and their accompanying documentation submitted by applicants wishing to join those societies. In the course of these reviews, I note each Generation (by underlining the names and assigning a generation number) and make comments on each set of documents being reviewed. All the information and marks that I add to the documents are to be performed with an erasable red pencil. For this work, a red pencil is, for the most part, the only tool that I use.For many years I was able to find Prismacolor Col-Erase Carmine Red Pencils at most local office and school supply stores, so supply was never a problem. However, in the last year only Ticonderoga Checking(TM) pencils can be found locally. Believing that all red pencils were, basically, the same, I bought a dozen of the Ticonderoga brand red pencils. Big mistake! The "lead" or, the more correct term "core" of the Ticonderoga brand pencils is very fragile or soft causing the point to break off and to wear down quickly.Thinking that I had gotten a bad shipment I purchased other Ticonderoga brand pencils from different stores in different cities, with the same results. At the same time, I tried to find Prismacolor Col-Erase red pencils. I could only find them in a few art supply stores and those were wildly expensive and did not have erasers.Well, thank goodness for the Internet and Amazon (TM) and their suppliers as I was able to order the Prismacolor Col-Erase Carmine Red Pencils, by the dozen, and they are the same great pencil as what I have been using for years. So, if you are unhappy with your present checking pencil - definitely consider the Prismacolor Col-Erase Carmine Red Pencil (#20045).

SOLVED THE STICKER PROBLEM
So I’m with everybody that the stickers are incredibly annoying, but I found a way to get them off with little to no residue. Take a blow dryer and set it on the highest heat setting. Then go back and forth on the sticker to melt the glue adhesive and slowly peel it off. Don’t leave it in one spot or else the sticker won’t come off in one piece. You’re welcome!

Great pencil for animation and drawing.
I mostly use this pencil for gesturing, and I use the blue Col-Erase to finish my drawings. It is a very nice pencil that is good not only for animation, but for everyday drawing. It is just light enough that it doesn't impede the blue Col-erase for tie-downs (drawing your final lines), but is dark enough so you don't lose your gesture. The only possible drawback that I can think of is that since the led is so soft I find myself needing to sharpen it on a very regular basis. Almost every time I'm about to start a drawing I need to sharpen first. I do press fairly hard sometimes for a darker line, which is also a contributing factor to constantly needing to sharpen. As a result, I make sure to have 3 or 4 pencils on stand-by that are nice and sharp so I can those fine lines when I need them.Overall, the pencil is great, with a good price, and worth getting the 12 pack.

I love it.
Use an actual eraser in my opinion it was delivered Myricks which some people do enjoy but like if you’re trying to make A clear picture I recommend using a regular pink eraser.I highly recommend it. I’ve got a brand from the YouTuber. I wanted to use them ever cents and I finally got a chance to and I love them.

Goo Gone needed!
You would think buying a dozen pencils that come in a packaged box would be just that. Instead, the box contained 12 pencils wrapped individually with barcode stickers. They were a nuisance. None of the stickers peeled off effortlessly and once removed, they left a sticky residue.

Heaven sent
I bought these for base sketching and correcting my kids homework.Pros-Come in a box that can easily be put in organized drawer-Lead doesn't break easily-eraser is pretty good.-Stays sharp for decently long time depending on angle of sketch and pressure used.-Doesn't role or wonder off thanks to shape-Last a LOONNNNGGG Time!-Beautiful Bold Color-Does well under water color and other mediumsCons-Does not fully erase unless used lightly-Tip dulls fast with intense pressure
