Monty Don's Adriatic Gardens [DVD] [2021]

I have a few of Montys DVDs and books too and I'm never disappointed. This dvd is wonderful, felt I was there experiencing the beautiful gardens and locations. Feeling down then watch this, you won't feel down for long..Its so relaxing.

Monty Don is always a joy to watch and his latest series is no different. I'm very grateful for how these beautiful gardening shows got many of us through the pandemic, it's good escapist entertainment and educational too (for those of us interested in gardening and the outdoors). This time Monty travels across Europe and explores the influence of Venetians from their home city of Venice way down the Adriatic coast, through Croatia and on to Greece. From giving us a tour of public and private gardens, we learn about the implications of culture and climate and what the future may hold. Only niggle is it's a shorter series than usual (three episodes), however it's a fantastic watch and Monty is always very warm and engaging. Good comfort telly.
