This is a lovely hairbrush! I have very long hair and this is gentle enough that it doesn't cause any breaks, yet it's not so soft that it doesn't do its job. Have had mine for three years now and it has not lost any bristles. It's also easy to wash. My husband tried the brush it and loved it, so we got him one, too. I bought a third just in case I ever lose mine!

So nice and feel good on your scalp. My wife tried her friend’s S heart scalp hair brush, but this one makes more sense because of the quality and cost. My daughter has never complained again whenever my wife brush her hair.

I'm in my 60's so needless to say that I have been through A LOT of hairbrushes in my lifetime. My hair has always been pretty thick and as a result, I've always bought boar hair brushes. After every use, when I would clean it, I would end up with a big glob of hair from the brush. So, I just thought that my hair was starting to fall out. I needed a new brush and, in my research I came across this one. I thought, jeez, I don't know, nylon bristols? looks like it might be too whimpy to cut through my thick gray hair. But I liked the idea that you can use it to scrub your scalp while shampooing. So, I bought it. ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I'VE EVER MADE! This is truly one of the best brushes I've ever owned and I love it. Yes it's soft, but it cuts through thick hair so smoothly and even better... not as much hair to clean off as all my previous brushes (that I think now was pulling my hair out). The quality is excellent. And I think it's because it is actually made in Japan - which still adhere to good quality. I'm going to order another one to keep for traveling. It be nice if it came with a traveling case to put it in so it wouldn't get smooshed in your suit case. Anyways, hope this helps anyone that might be researching new hair brushes.

This is a good brush. I have thick, long, and abundant hair and it works well for me. My spouse and kids love the feel of the brush as well, we all have different textures and lenghts. Still worked o it for all.I recommend this product.

I'm like so many others, in denial about the age thing, so I tend to resist anything that suggests the item is designed for old people. I thought at first it was just a gimmick, but the brush is well designed and softer on the scalp. Ikemoto has done a great job once again. If the price was lower, I would have purchased three more, one for the bathroom cabinet, one for the glove box in my car, one for my dresser in my room and one for my man cave. Lower the price and make a three pack... that's my suggestion.

Best hairbrush I’ve ever had. Just received the brush today and had to pop in and say how pleased I am. I’m 71 yrs old so guess I qualify for an aging scalp. lol! But this should be great for all ages. Kids with sensitives scalpes would love this too. I have long wavy hair, medium thickness hair that tangles easily and this brush slides through with ease. Bristles are long and soft and don’t rip your hair out. Feels great on your scalp too! I can’t imagine anyone not liking this brush. Shipping was quick. Great brush! Price is great too.😁
