I love the scent of this almond lotion. It really smells more fresh and elegant than most lotions I regularly find at the store. It comes in a pump bottle, and I also put some of this lotion in my decorative lotion dispenser in my powder room for guests as soon as I tried it because it smells so wonderful. The rest of the lotion I keep handy for softening my hands after washing up,and I will even use this as a body lotion after a shower. Harsh winter weather and dry heated air can dry skin out quickly, and I like to apply lotion often to keep my skin soft and smooth. The almond scent of this lotion makes it very pleasant to apply lotion frequently instead of it being a constant annoying chore. While this lotion makes my skin very soft, especially my hands, it doesn't leave any greasy or oily residue. It absorbs quickly and I just notice a light fresh almond scent after I use it. Sometimes if I'm traveling, I like to have a scented lotion to freshen up a bit after a long plane or car ride. I will dispense some of this good smelling lotion into a carry on sized bottle so I can have it available to use when I want. If I am staying at a hotel, I also like to have a bit of this lotion because sometimes the toiletries supplied by the hotels are not as good smelling or don't work as well to soften my skin as I would like. First things first - the labels on this bottle are in Spanish. I was expecting this since the product photo and the description both show this, but do keep that in mind if that will be an issue for you. It wasn’t for me, and I’m happy with the lotion so far. The scent of the lotion is fairly strong. It is sweet, and not quite what I was expecting for almond, but it is nice. I don’t always want a strong scented lotion, so I don’t use this every day because the smell does linger quite a long time. However, most days I don’t mind having the scent with me, and I quite like it. The lotion is pretty thin, and I find that a little goes a long way, both because of the scent - if I use too much it is definitely overpowering - and the moisturization. I feel like a half pump is enough for both arms and hands, and I usually use a half pump for each leg. The lotion applies easily and absorbs quickly, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It lasts about as long as most lotions I’ve tried. I usually feel like I need to reapply after washing my hands, so I’m thinking about keeping it by my bathroom sink. It’s a nice big bottle, so it will last me a long time, especially if I’m not using it every day. I like the pump - it works well and is really easy to dispense exactly how much I want. During the winter months my hands get very dry and my daughter gets dry itchy patches on her skin. I am always looking for a new lotion that will help her skin and my hands stay hydrated. I did not give this 1 star because the lotion did seem to leave my hands feeling silky and the skin did not feel tight after use. But that is where my happiness ended. I can not tell you how long the effects of this lasts because after about 30 minutes I HAD to try to wash it all off! When I first put it on, I couldn't really decide if I liked the smell of it or not. It had an almondy and cinnimony (and something else I can not put a name too) smell to it. After 30 minutes or so it was a 100% sure that I did not like the smell. I tried it more than once and each time I could only handle the smell of it for so long. The husband hated the smell right away and my son didn't like it much either. The lotion is very runny. I prefer my lotions to be thick. When rubbing the lotion in there is a noticeable watery feel to it. When I bought this lotion I must not have been paying attention to the labeling because it is all in Spanish. I don't know Spanish so I can only guess the ingredients that are used in this product. This lotion smells amazing! It's kind of an almond cinnamon scent that makes me happy. It didn't arrive the fastest but not too bad. All the writing is in Spanish so no clue what it says. It's a mediocre lotion but I give it four stars because the scent makes me so happy. This was well packaged so no problem with leakage or damage. I have older skin so would have liked the lotion to have a little richer feel. I'm sure for younger skin it would work fine.
