The outside material is easily washable with soap and water. Clean wipes work as well. Do the bags smell bad inside? We've pre-treated these bags to remove odors, but if you still detect a bad smell, you can wash out the inside with tepid water mixed with baking soda upon first use. Can I fill them up with ice or water and keep them frozen in the freezer? We don't recommend this since the seal will be too frozen to open and the exterior could become vulnerable to very sharp objects when completely frozen. Can I fill them with hot water? Works Wonderful!!
I love the 3 different sizes,makes it easy to get the right size for your aches and pains. This may sound a little unusual, but we have a dog who has an inherited degenerative disorder, when she is sore we use this for her to. Great price, great product. No to mention I love the color. :)

These are exactly what I needed. They were great for the first few weeks and now they leak. They could be better insulated so the ice wouldn't melt as fast.

the small one's perfect for my toothache
Needed an ice pack to treat my swollen mouth after getting dental implants for my second molar. The pain is pretty bad right where the crown implant is so I needed an ice pack that stayed cold enough for a long time. These bags did just the job which was a HUGE relief (both physically and mentally) because the first ice bag I bought was just disappointing (leaked on first try) and I had to wait a few days for these new ones to arrive. GLAD to say the search ended with these. These have large opening so I was able to fit pretty big chunks of ice in, and they stayed cold enough for the whole afternoon and evening. Did not really notice much condensation until well into the night.The fabric is very soft which makes it comfortable against the skin. Being so soft they were surprisingly strong enough to hold in all the liquid and ice without any leaks. I do not care for getting three different sizes but so far the small one has been perfect for my toothache as I can target the pain area and nothing else. Will shelf the medium and large ones in case I need to ice up another injury down the road . Hopefully not!
