These lanterns are great. I purchase them every year to use for a water lantern memorial ceremony and I’ve never been disappointed. My ONLY complaint is that each lantern comes wrapped individually; creating a lot of unnecessary packaging. Otherwise, they are easy to unfold, light, and they float really well. They look beautiful when lit!

Worked beautifully to set into the ocean behind a boat. I had to hot glue the provided candles into the middle to prevent sliding, and I would recommend possibly getting different candles on the ocean (these seemed to blow out quickly because of the wind) but the candles themselves floated flawlessly for over an hour while spreading ashes at sea. Would definitely recommend for burials at sea. Had the family write their names and a note on each candle before setting out

After reading the reviews I knew what to expect when I bought these but I bought them anyway. We used battery operated candles in them and they looked beautiful on the pool for about 10 minutes. Then they all floated to the corner and started to sink. I don't recommend using these in water. They may look great lining the outside of the pool or sidewalk, but, if there is any breeze at all they will all end up in the same spot and sink.

We ended up not putting them in the pool because it was windy and they all floated towards the steps (we bought 3 boxes of 10). We did test one in the pool the night before and it worked great and was really pretty. We sat them around the pool and they were BEAUTIFUL. The reflection of the lights were so pretty.

Don’t waste your money! These are not sturdy and will fall apart quickly! Two holders had tears in them upon opening and the others filled with water in less than 30 minutes of placing them in the water! I’d give zero stars if allowed! Truly disappointing...

Much like all the other reviews, this product is not as nice as the picture. The product came in a nice decorative box and each lantern is individually wrapped, but the way they are folded causes wrinkles on the sides. I bought these to try out before a wedding because we needed something to float in the pool. They are definitely not wedding standard presentable. They also sank to the bottom after a few hours. Honestly, don't waste your money testing these out like I did. I can assure you, along with every other reviewer, that these are crappy.

Used these for a backyard wedding in our round pool. They stayed creased from how they were folded for shipping so they don’t look as nice as they do in the pictures. Also I turned the pool pump on to make a slight current so they would float around and be prettier. But this just made them slowly sink or set themselves on fire over the next few hours. Only had 3-4 left by the end of the night. Probably fine if they are in standin water.

I was very happy with this lantern. We used them as part of a memorial to commemorate the anniversary of my brother's passing. While we used our own candles instead of the ones from the package, the lanterns worked very well. They floated very nicely on the ocean water and made a really pretty tribute to my brother.
