We've tried both Picasso Tiles and magblocks and there is no comparison, the magblocks are way better. The magnets in the magblocks are way stronger and hold up way better when building anything, but especially when making something really tall.My kids are 4 and 2. The 2 year old is starting to get into these but these are probably my 4 year olds favorite toy. I love these for the creativity of building his own designs, and learning to follow directions to turn a picture into something real.I would recommend these to anyone who asked for a good creative toy for kids.

I am an engineer, so I like right angles, sturdy, and standard dimensions. These mag blocks have a wide flat edge, and very strong magnets (two on each edge, not one like some other brands). I was able to stand six squares straight up on their edges. No supporting walls, just six squares straight up, free-standing. So impressive! I am combining this set with a set from Playmags called Playmags 150 Piece Set - Stronger Magnets Sturdy Super Durable with Vivid Clear Color Tiles - 18 Piece Clickins Accessories to Enhance Your Creativity Includes Connectivity CarPlaymags has a 50 dollar set and a 70 dollar set. You would think these blocks were made in the same factory as Playmags, but they have differences, Slightly different colors, and slightly different designs on the squares. But the squares and triangle blocks are exactly the same size and width. The rivets in the corners are slightly different. But they combine flawlessly to make a huge super set.

I bought this set for my four year old son. This is his second set and this one is so much better than the previous one. The pieces are great quality and there are a lot of different shapes with plenary of each shape to get creative. The wheel sets that come are also great quality, sturdy enough to support a giant moving tower, which happens to be my sons favorite thing to build! The book comes with a ton of different pictures of ideas of things you could build. The book is not like LEGO building instructions and much more just a book of pictures of ideas, but I think my little one prefers to see ideas and then use his creativity to bring them to life better anyways. I also really liked the tub it came in, he has a place to put all the pieces when he’s not playing. Even the air bags that came in the tub to stop the pieces from banging around during shipment were really nice quality!

We bought this for my son for his birthday a few months back and he absolutely loves them we had originally purchased the big namebrand magnetic building blocks which were good however the magnets were not that strong. We will be buying more of these for Christmas!

I bought this brand “mag block” 2 times. The first pack (120pieces) I purchased on Oct 2020, I was happy with the product. My son loves magnetic block and he asked me to buy more. That’s why I chose the same brand. I bought the second new pack (130 pieces) on July 2021. BUT this time was unpleasant. It looks the same, BUT The quality is POOR. Edge is shape. The surface is Scuffed! As you can see in the picture. Very disappointed with the new pack. And the price is much higher than last one too. It’s hard to get consistent good quality control.
