It's bad. A nickle is thicker than this blade, zombie prep people look up condor machetes as those are thick and reliable. To people just being stupid, it will cut, but it will also bend and break very easily. You want to chop a deers head off? Grab a real piece of equipment or find something from cold steel. If you want a similar performance to this then go to good will and duct tape a bunch of knives from there to one of their baseball bats or hockey sticks and start whacking. It'll give you better results and I'm speaking from experience here on the hockey and knife bat. This thing sadly ain't heavy duty or really worth the price or the shipping. Just go to Walmart or home depo, or give this to your kids. The handles also smaller than your smart phone and sheath is better than the blade.

Good and sharp, but plan on replacing the handle wrap and the carrying case very soon. The nylon case is way too cheaply made.

Its heavy and sharp and cheap. Great product for the price. They could have kept the sheath however. My used sock would make a more suitable sheath than the crap that came with the machete.

Soft steel, will not hold cutting edge when cutting real cane - likely great for cutting cooked spaghetti.Handle is too small for average sized male hand, very uncomfortable. Cord wrap failed after a couple of hours use.Attractive, but pretty useless for real work.

Nice Price Nice weight. Needs some sharpening though. It needs a new sheath. The sheath overall is kinda flimsy. I removed the nylon cord handle and am making a grip from tape and Plasti Dip. Very nice for yardwork,removing weeds and small sapling trees.

I expected a half ass slab o metal this was razor sharp and cut the blackberry vines fabulously. I guess my only bitch was the wanker handle.
