Great piece of kit. Clear picture and good battery life

Has advantages and disadvantages, but I guess you get what you pay for. It is definitely value for money, but I did have trouble setting it up as it simply would not pair with the Wi-Fi, but then worked fine the next day and ever since - other reviewers have not had this problem, so perhaps it was just me! I find the picture good (especially at night and good colour rendering during the day), but I probably needed to fix it lower down for shorter visitors (the fisheye lens works well horizontally, but cuts off vertically downwards). I also find it too motion-sensitive; it has 3 settings, but will still pick up movement 4m away on the public footpath, even on a low setting. I find it takes a while to get the image on my phone/tablet when I receive notifications, but that may be a Wi-Fi or reception issue.I understand there is a slot for an SD card, but the instructions are very poor and I wouldn't have known what this was for if it hadn't been for another reviewer. Also, it comes with connections for a wired-in doorbell but, again, the instructions don't mention it! However, the battery seems to last a long time, so it's not a problem and it even alarms when you remove it for recharging (presumably in case someone is minded to steal it)! Be careful of the screws - they are tiny, and I lost one on installation (fortunately I keep spares).Overall, though, I'm satisfied with it and will keep adjusting the performance to get the best compromise.

I see a few complaints in the reviews but to be honest these are issues people are having because they don't know how to set it up - which for my money, was easy - **remember to purchase a micro SD card** - I got a 32GB which is plenty, then download the app, insert your SD card. charge the unit for 6 hours before use, follow the instructions to pair the device to the app, set up your PIR sensitivity if the camera faces the road and you don't want to catch every passing car, set up what notifications you want from the app and you're done, it's that simple.All that's left to do then is play with the app to get used to how it all functions.I bought this unit to replace a different one from a different manufacturer who tried to charge a subscription after 3 months when they'd advertised it as free for the lifetime of the unit - with this one you can buy a subscription if you like, but you don't need to if you have a SD card.The camera is sharp and so it and the app is a big improvement on the last unit I had, and given it's price now - 20 quid with voucher - that's a steal.The only negative is the battery life - it will last 90 days if you just use it as just a doorbell but if you watch the live feed for any particular length of time the battery level will drop like a stone - me personally, I'm going to look at giving it a 24vDC permanent supply then that way they'll be no worries, the two terminal screws on the back of the unit make that possible.Really satisfied with this unit - just keep in mind that your phone will be the doorbell chime unless you buy the chime for it.

Update: charged camera after it stated the battery was low, fully charged to 100%. 30 minutes after reinstalling it back onto the holder, I had notification after notification stating the battery was too low and to charge it. I reset the camera etc and started over again.Nothing worked. Contacted customer service who told me to do exactly the same as I had done before. Nothings changed. Now I have a camera that keeps notifying me the battery is low and won’t work correctly. Not happy at all.After reading a lot of reviews on this product and comparing it to others, I’m very glad I went with this doorbell camera.Super easy to install the app on my phone, easy to set up and attach to door frame. Took 10 minutes to do, if that!The app is very good and I love the fact you can change settings ect!No downsides (so far) very happy with this product.Big deal breaker for me was connecting it to my Alexa’s around my house which informs me someone is at my front door.Brilliant little camera & excellent for the price too!

Really good alternative to the ring camera (we have both- one on different doors)I find with Ring it needs charged constantly(weekly), where this one has been in my door for about 8 weeks and still has over 45% batteryIt's not overly sensitive so doesn't alert for every single movement that happens (probably why the battery lasts longer)It was easy to install once we worked it out, but we did have to change the band on our broadband router to 2.4..... our broadband is through sky and the router has a multi band thing so had to log into the router, switch it to 2.4 ,connected the doorbell then switched the router back to automatic and we haven't had any connection problems.Get a memory card for your doorbell and it saves all the footage, then you just log into the doorbell through the app to view footage.No subscriptions and no messing about.So overall, it's a bit more basic but does all we need it to do

I bought this for hubby for Christmas, and he loved it! He managed to install it nice and easy (but he is a technical guys mind, I would not have done it myself) It's a cheaper version of Ring door bell. We had it since Christmas, it works well, no issue so far. Does not need charging too often. It detects motion easily. Hubby connected it to his phone and he gets all the notifications. You can talk to each other via this door bell too. We are very pleased with it. Would recommend.

Preisleistung sehr gut. Zusatzgong funktioniert immer, Anbindung an Alexa und Handy funktioniert super einfach und schnell.Die Empfindlichkeit des Bewegungssensors könnte noch eine Stufe niedriger sein, sonst kann ich die Türklingel Kamera mit Gong weiterempfehlen.

Très bonne autonomie, bonne portée en wifi (30 mètres entre la sonnette et la box). L'image est bonne et l'interrogation à distance marche bien. Je recommande.
