I appreciate the sturdiness of these steps but still providing a lightweight structure. My little chiweenie is not tall enough to jump they almost four feet to get into my bed. The steps were perfect to provide the lift she needed. Also, I have issues lifting heavy weights. Those problems are solved. Also, I like the upholstered feature. It makes the steps look very nice, in a designer way. I could highly recommend this product for other people with the same issues. My dog weighs about 15 lb, and these steps would be sturdy enough to hold a slightly heavier dog.

As our oldest cat has aged we realized she was having a hard time getting up to our taller bed. We purchased this and then another set of the same stairs for our couch to make her life easier. Both stairs are great, the color is lovely (picked something that popped a bit so we don't stumble over it in the dark), and we've had to wash each cover a few times and it's held up really nicely. While we did intend the purchase for our oldest cat, all of the household cats use it so we're glad its helping everyone's joints from having to jump around too much.

We have a very high bed, and even this one leaves a 5-6" step for the dog at the top, but she has no problem with that. She's an 11lb. Yorkie. It took only a little training and convincing to get her to use it, but now she uses it completely on her own. It's quiet and comfortable, and light weight.Note that we bought a plastic model at a garage sale, and haven't been able to get her to use that one yet.

These stairs are a nice idea and I like the color/material. However, it did not work for my 15 year old puggle. He is too heavy (30 lbs) and the stairs are too narrow and they are made of foam material so he sinks into them. It is hard on his aging legs/muscles. It was easier for him to go up, but he could not use them to go down. The length of his body, the narrowness of the steps, and the softness of the steps made it too uncomfortable for him. Maybe better for a light/smaller dog.

I have had these a year. They are nice that each step is not real high. What would really make this easier on a small dog is if they were at least 3" deeper thus the whole thing also being deeper. My pup has to take a run to get up as when he didn't he fell off. I have now found the perfect ramp for same price even better n can goes as high as 28". Still these are quite nice n perfect as I said if deeper for small guys.
