I don't know where all the great reviews came from. Seriously I am beginning to wonder if a bunch of fake accounts are created here, or perhaps this product is totally hit or miss. Mine was a total MISS in every sense of the word! I loathe this product and here's why: Bought two and neither work. First off, the directions were obviously written by someone who does not speak English very well. Really tired of this "pigeon English" when it comes to directions. Anyway, the recharger is so cheap it hardly holds the rechargeable battery and the recharger always has the green light on (which should mean the battery is fully charged - but the battery NEVER works. Ever! It could sit in the recharger for hours and it doesn't work!). When you place AAA batteries into the light it works - kind of - but all the features DON'T work and I spent an hour fiddling with it, trying to get the different features to work. They never did. It's bright (with AAA batteries in it) which is about the only good thing I can say about it, otherwise, what a piece of garbage. I am usually not so adamant in reviews and don't usually have such a negative experience. This time, I SURE did with this annoyingly cheap piece of merchandise. Also, the wrist strap is a piece of cotton thread at best. A cheap piece of cotton thread attached to the base of the light, NOT like the photo shown here. I absolutely LOATHE this product! Loathe it! Again, don't know where all the good reviews are coming from but I begin to question their validity. Seriously.

Amazing flashlight, especially for women who are out at night. The zoom lens is perfect and the button to turn the light on and change the lighting is easily felt if you can't see it. The SOS alert would definitely catch anyone's attention. I did not want to buy a gun but was about ready to purchase a lazer stun gun for $400 but I feel just as safe carrying this. It fits great in my pockets and/or my purse.Please consider this item for your own personal safety, you could answer your door at night and shine it right on someone's face and they won't be able to see anything for the bright light which gives you time to call 911.

Omg! this is the brightest flashlight I have ever used. you can zoom in or out and it is perfect!! I will def. be getting another one to have bc its so bright and shows a long range

wow this is one of the better flashlights for its price here on amazon. the led that gets projected comes out very clear and crisp and some cheaper flashlights on amazon have fuzzy boarders and stray light not hitting the desired point. super satisfied with this flashlight

UPDATED (9/8/2018): After the light was not available on Amazon for some time, it is back as a different model (X800) that uses either 3 AAA batteries or one 18650 Li-ion battery. My flashlight is the G700 that used either of these AS WELL AS a more robust 26650 Li-ion battery. Perhaps it was easier to switch to a flashlight that will use the 18650 battery instead of the larger diameter light that uses the 26650 battery to enable the flashlight to fit in the bicycle light mount. I would have preferred a mount that was capable of holding the larger flashlight.Oh, yes. The price increased from $13.99 to $18.88. And the site sells both the G700 as well as the G800 for the same price.And maybe the case has been improved for the hinges to survive opening and closing multiple times.Good light (G700, NOT the X800) that uses a longer-lasting 26650 battery instead of a 18650 battery. I would not consider using AAA batteries in the included package, although some people may prefer using them instead of the Li-ion batteries that last longer and require less frequent charging.My deduction of one star is because the plastic case will not survive anything more than very occasional use. It is flimsy, and the locking tabs will break soon.The second deduction is for the bike mount that will not attach to this light. It DOES attach to my UltraFire XM-L T6 that uses one 18650 battery and my smaller Hausbell that uses one 14450 (or one AA) battery. The part that holds the flashlight is flexible to some extent, but not enough to insert the larger diameter light that uses a 26650 battery.
