Bought this as a replacement shower hose for an expensive one that failed after a year. Looks good, lighter weight and seems to be well constructed. A very good value for the money.

This replaced the original hose on a Kohler shower fixture. The threads match, the brass color matches the rest of the fixture, it's nice and flexible, and it works well overall. The "stretchable" part of the hose appears to be provided by an elastic interior material and the metal exterior of the hose has enough pliability built-in to allow the hose to lengthen by a few inches. This design also allows the water pressure in the hose to lengthen the it by a couple of inches while in use. When the water is turned off, the flexed hose then takes a few seconds to drain as the water pressure is released by the elastic interior of the hose. Not a problem - just something you don't at first expect.UPDATE- 2/16/22 - The hose developed a leak at the shower head end after about 6 months of use. I contacted Showermaxx through Amazon and they immediately replaced the hose after I sent a picture of the leak. Although disappointed the hose developed the leak, I was impressed at the great customer service, and that the lifetime warranty means what it says.

I am so impressed with this shower hose. It looks great - shiny brass look - and is very flexible and plenty long. It was easy to install. It is so much better than a much more expensive one I previously had (that malfunctioned after a few years). I highly recommend it. And the price is certainly right. I couldn't be more pleased!

It is a good product. Love the flexibility of the hose. However advertising it as extra long is misleading. It is actually shorter that the standard hand held hose.
