Assembly required and easy startup
The media could not be loaded. The assembly of the Legacy Heating patio heater was really straightforward. I found the manual to be written in perfectly good English and easy to follow. The only couple of things that I was ever so slightly confused on were the instructions distinguishing between the bottom part of the pole and the top part of the pole but my intuition won out and I knew that the top part had to attach to the heating element. After careful rereading of the manual it was more clear than my initial understanding of it. The other thing that tripped me up briefly was putting together the top heat shield, you have to account for the middle circle plate using the same screw holes as the outer plates so you should only put in the outermost ring of screws first, then place the middle plate on top and then screw in the rest of the screws in the middle. The instructions weren't super clear on which direction the screws versus the caps should go but I think they were trying to indicate that the screws come up from the bottom and the caps go on the top. I figure that makes the most sense so that the screw heads don't rust out from rain over time, though they APPEAR to be made out of stainless steel so they shouldn't rust either way. After assembly I rolled it outside and I hooked up my spare propane tank to it. I read the labeled instructions on how to turn on the patio heater. To my great surprise this magical heater fired up on my first click of the starter button! 🎉 I can't tell you how many times I've struggled at restaurants and friends houses trying to start their dang patio heaters because my wife is freezing and I look like a fool trying to start it for 5 minutes. So, needless to say, I was super impressed by it starting on my very first attempt and even the first ignitor button press. I can only hope that it continues to be that easy in the future. The initial low setting flame immediately turned the pretty stainless steel heating element black, but that's to be expected with any patio heater I assume. After 5 minutes I cranked it up to high and the heating element glowed bright red and produced quite a bit of heat. I can see the heat waves going under the canopy outward and some of them are escaping up because, you know, heat rises.I stood next to it for a few minutes and realized my forehead was blazing hot so this thing definitely puts out some BTUs. I'm really looking forward to finishing out my patio soon and having some tables and chairs around this thing and inviting the neighbors over for a COVID-19 friendly happy hour!

Heater works, but poor QA and non-existent customer service
The heater came in one box and was relatively easy to assemble. It works fine and is easy to operate. However, one of the prefabricated pieces (cover for the propane tank) was misaligned. Apart from the aesthetics of a crooked top piece, I wanted to make sure I had a good seal between the two pieces since I live in a wet climate. There was a paper in the box promising a response within 24 hours to the customer service email. I sent two emails several weeks apart and received no response at all. I guess you get what you pay for, but incredibly frustrating that they do not fulfill their stated customer service promise. I'll use it as long as it lasts, but going to buy a better brand whenever I need to replace it.

Is 47k btu not 48k as advertized
Says right on the post its a 47k btu heater so a little misleading on the btu output. Also ran on high first 20 minutes and it melted the screen surround where the seam is and started to collapse. Seems a bit cheaply made, guess just wont use on high setting or it will self destruct.

FIrst impressions are favorable.
1st impressions are quite favorable. Arrived on time, packaging was most impressive. Assembly was pretty straight forward, with instructions written clearly. Probably removing the blue protective film took the longest time during assembly. Ignited instantly, giving off good amount of heat. Took a magnet to see if it's mostly stainless. Yes it is. Seems high quality components are used. Let's see how they all hold up.

Looks great. Good packaging and instructions
Came very well packaged and with well written instructions which is a pretty good indicator of quality. I live near the ocean and haven’t seeen any rust spots and it’s been a few weeks so I have high hopes for the product. Guests live the heat it produces on chili nights we have been having lately.

Works but not sturdy.
Product looks great, if your handy assembly should not be a problem, easy to turn on/off, but flimsy material. Top heater pan bends easily. Does the job though!
