I bought the light gray hat, yet it looks more like beige to me. I have used it a few times and I love the hat. The edge of the hat is big enough to provide shade to my neck, and it was well made. Also, the edge is quite rigid so wind won't be able to alter it when I am outside. The edge is also low and I would not be seeing a lot above me but I am happy with the protection it gives me under the sun. The mesh area also keeps my head cool.

This hat works great in protecting my head and neck from the sun. It is the right size for my head, and the material is comfortable. The front flap is an added touch. I have used this hat while working in the outdoor garden section at Lowes Home Center and while fishing in North Carolina. I am pleased with it.

Great item easy to use lightweight yet protects what needs to get protected during long hikes. Easy to maintain just throw it in the wash. Only gripe is that the material is thin and flimsy, but it does the job.

Lightweight and breathable. Kept me from getting burned after 8+ hours on the water.

I was excited to wear that for my hike today (got it yesterday). The temperature was about 78 f , not really hot. But I felt the sunhat didn’t feel cool. In fact it felt hotter than my other sun hats. The material is not breathable as I expected. I could keep my other hats I have from other brands throughout the hikes on my head with no problem. But this one I felt hot and had to take it off to breath in the middle of my hike in that not very hot day. And the mash area is not big enough to feel cool or breathable. I had to take it off to breathe from time to time. I am not going to return it for that price. I will punch a few holes on the top and the sides just to see if that makes any difference.
