I saw this gentleman on Shark Tank. And as a type 2 diabetic, I was not able to eat ketchup, even after I beat diabetes. I was still unable to eat ketchup, so even though I was skeptical. I thought I'm going to get it. And when I tell you that I'm thrilled that I did, I could have done a happy dance!! It tastes like ketchup, but better! And it's better for you. Had it came a day earlier. I would have used it in my meatloaf! If you love ketchup but hate all the bad stuff in it. RUN don't walk to get this because you won't be disappointed. I promise! I will be a return customer, and so will my daughters! Shark tank missed out on a great product!

Have used this banana ketchup in the past and it was great since it’s low in sodium and taste is decent. It should be more of a reddish brown color similar to the photos. The product received is purplish. I contacted seller and they advised they changed ingredients which changed the color of the product. Taste of product appears to have changed but it’s not too noticeable.

I was really skeptical but I gave it a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. It actually tastes like real ketchup (in many ways I think it's even better). Tastes incredible -- literally ketchup with a hint of banana -- and I disagree with other reviewers talking about the poor texture -- mine was perfect. Very smooth and not runny at all. 10/10 and will repurchase soon!

It doesn’t taste good at all! This banana ketchup tastes awful PLUS it leaves and an unpleasant after taste in your mouth! I’m diabetic and I’m trying to avoid sugars so this looked promising online, but really disappointed that it tastes so bad!Tried to return it but Amazon says ineligible for refund!There was an option to contact seller so I contacted seller and requested a refund! No response yet from seller at this time. I really would like a refund. I have two unopened bottles as we only opened one to eat with but ended up not tasting as good as described.And I’m hoping to be able to get a refund since they aren’t cheap at all.

Tastes good, we like it on sandwiches salads etc..It’s expensive so don’t use it freely like ketchup or mustard

I don’t like the taste. It’s sour. I can’t take acidic food I think the tomato ketchup taste better and milder.

I love banana ketchup and this is definitely the best one I have come across so far online. So glad that Whole Foods offers it. I also am a big fan of the UPenn student on their team. Great minds coming together to help create a great product!

As others have stated, this has a strong vinegar flavor and I would describe it more as almost a salad dressing type of flavor. I detected no peanut flavor at all even though peanut is in the product description. I think this is not worth what I paid and I even got it on sale for Prime Day. I was going to use this is a tofu dipping sauce but I know now that won't be happening. I wish it wasn't so strong and sour almost. I think the texture and consistency is great and it is nice and smooth, but if you are buying this for the peanut flavor please look elsewhere. Admitedly I don't know about this type of sauce but it sounded great. Sadly I was very disappointed.
