Like others whose reviews I read before buying, I was skeptical about purchasing a mattress online. I did not want a memory foam mattress so I was thrilled to find a coil spring mattress, made in the USA!, which could be delivered. I'm currently undergoing chemo and simply don't have the energy to go mattress shopping but really needed a new mattress and did not want something cheaply made, I wanted something comparable to the more expensive mattresses we usually purchase.. As others have previously stated in their reviews, you definitely want to have this where you want it before you cut off the plastic, it begins to expand as soon as you get through that last layer or two. Even as careful as I was being, it still popped open like a can of biscuits when I cut the last bit of plastic off the end (which was actually rather comical but do use caution cutting it open, for all intents and purposes). I have ordered a feather bed topper, which has yet to arrive, so I've been sleeping on just the mattress for the past two nights. I have no complaints thus far. It is firm, gives me very good lumbar and overall back support, but is also comfy as a result of the layer of cushion on top. Only time will tell how it wears with use but, so far, it is exactly what I wanted and you simply cannot beat the price, the fact that it's delivered right to your door, and is made here in the US. I am so pleased with my purchase that I am considering purchasing a second one for my son's room, provided I continue to be as happy with it as I am now. I will update this review should I encounter any issues or problems in the future but, at this point, I would have no qualms about recommending it to others. I have it on a platform bed frame, also purchased on Amazon and made in the USA, as is the feather bed, so I am happy and proud that the entire bed is American made. Today is the first day in as long as I can remember that I hit the snooze button a couple of times because I just wanted to stay in bed because I was so comfortable.**Update: It's only been a couple of days since my initial review. I compared it against a more expensive Simmons mattress in one of the other bedrooms and, as another customer wrote in their review, there really isn't any edge support. ( I expect if there was they wouldn't be able to roll it up and ship it, however. ) Either way it's really a non-issue for me as I don't spend a lot of time sitting on the edge of the bed nor sleeping on the edge so, at this point, still completely happy with my purchase.

Basically. This mattresses a bit in the softer side. But more importantly it's more for one sleeper, even in full size, because the edges are poorly formed/supportive. So when you get close to the edge, you fall off. I do appreciate the old school materials and style, though, that's why I chose it. It's working for us as an extra bed for a single visitor. I gave it an extra star for low cost.

So far so good! This is extremely comfortable and I'm amazed at the price. Will do a review on how it's holding up later but as far as comfort for a cheap mattress it's a 10!

very soft and comfy! My daughter loves her new bed. I don't think it would offer much support for a heavy person/man but it great for my 11 year old!

Horrible mattress, I was so excited and so wanted this to be nice it being certified pure foam and having organic elements I thought great, unfortunately I was wrong I set up the mattress and within a day sat on it and poked my back on a bulging coil inside of it. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and packaging it back up after it's been decompressed for the post man. What a serious disappointment. Very dissatisfied
