Excellent product..but the price is high..

Unfortunately every single peanut was broken, it was just a big mess. I tried one for the taste and I guess it was OK.

The product is excellent as good if not even better than M & M's. You get 5 packets of 20 pieces in each box for a total of 100 chocolate covered peanuts with a coated shell. But the best part is that 1 packet of 20 pieces is only 1 carb if you are watching your diet. The only negative I found is the price compared to the supermarkets. I paid $10.29 for one box and I have prime so I didn't have to pay for shipping, but the price in the supermarkets near me have it for $6.99 or cheaper. Some times you can get 2 for $10.00. They are so popular that sometimes the stores are out of stock temporarily. My husband misread the blurb from Amazon because it read Atkins Chocolate Peanut Candies, 5 count. He thought, because we are Prime members we were getting 5 boxes for $10.29. They meant 5 packets in box or sometimes 5 bars in box. I thought he was wrong but sometimes we get great prices on Prime, especially Books. The candies were wonderful and my hubby has lost 25 lbs., 5 more than his goal. I am only 6 lbs from goal. If you can't get it locally, join Prime and whatever you buy under Prime will be shipped free, even only 1 item. The benefits are worth it

I really like the way these taste, they are about as close to M&M's as you will ever get BUT they knock me right out of ketosis. I thought maybe it was something else that was doing it and I was hoping it was not these because I really like them but I did a test to make sure and these are definitely the culprit. After the second time they knocked me out of ketosis, I dropped down to 10-15 carbs a day and quickly got back into moderate ketosis by late the next evening. The following day I ONLY ate a package of these for each meal that day, otherwise I only had water. At the end of the night I retested and sure enough, I was out of ketosis again and the carb cravings were coming back strong. If I only count the sugar alcohols, there are 11 in each bag, making it 33 for the day when I did the test, so clearly my body processes the sugar alcohols as real sugar. I have never had any effect from dietary fiber so I am sure that is the problem. If you can handle sugar alcohols, go for it. They are delicious, but I have lost over 150 pounds and still have a ways to go so I cannot do anything to jeopardize that.

First time buyer. I love M&M Nut candy, but thought why not, let's get something a bit healthier. The price is high, but then what isn't for anything vaguely healthy. I put these in a finger bowl and just grab 1 or 2 during the day. It's a nice candy pick up. Taste is excellent, cant really tell them from the regular. BUT I've been eating healthier lately, so my sugar meter is pretty low.

If you order these, be ready to get them from your mailbox. They are chocolate and they melt, no longer will they be in candy-coated peanut form. They really are good though!
