Annie Leibovitz. the Early Years. 1970-1983

This is a good solid work filled with fascinating images and interesting literature. I don't know her work that well but this book has me interested in buying more. A good size too, not too small to be overpriced and filled with images too small to really see but also not too big as to be awkward to handle and not quite fit on the shelf. Well bound with an unusual 'unfinished edge' binding, which is the first time I've ever seen that, and the photo's are reproduced vert well with the B&W's being nicely grainy and the colour ones well saturated and vibrant. All in all a good book, well worth what I paid for it.

A Christmas present for my daughter

Alles bestens. Dafür auch die 5 *. Aber DHL bekommt bei mir -5 *. Siehe Bild. Obwohl ich ausdrücklich geschrieben habe, dass das Buch im Treppenhaus abgelegt werden soll, wurde es vom Anlieferer mit Gewalt in den Briefkasten gedrückt. Zum Glück ist dem Buch nichts passiert. Hätte auch anders ausgehen können.
