I'm so glad I picked up this magnifying glass! It has great magnification, and doesn't distort what you're looking at. It's also lightweight, and has a really large viewing area. It even has a 2 setting light built-in that requires AA batteries, so you can replace the batteries when they wear out. It's too big to carry in my purse, but that's ok. And at this price, I'll probably order another one - I like having them in the places in the house where I'm most likely to need them.

The 10x magnification level is just what I needed due to cataracts. The light is great - you can use it at 50% or at 100% which is really bright. And it is big, which makes it better for reading than smaller ones.I also like the sturdy handle which is much more comfortable to hold than a thinner handle.This is a great choice for anyone who needs a boost to help with threading a needle, doing close work or reading the frustrating small print on packages, food items, etc.

I bought this for my mother who is legally blind . She is on able to read anything even if it is in large print but with this handheld magnifier having fourr bright lights and being a very light weight makes it very easy for her to keep reading as long as the book is in large print . She told me she is thoroughly enjoying this particular handheld magnifier and I do appreciate the company that has produced this and selling it at such a good cost so that I could afford to buy it for her .I would recommend this for any person who is legally blind and needs to increase even large print books to a larger print. Buy this you won’t be disappointed.

I like using this product to examine and admire some of the coinage that I have not that I have that much, but and also for some light reading from time to time when the writing seems kind of small, this magnifying glass works quite well and the light is fairly bright for its size. It definitely gets the job done so I will definitely give it five stars so don’t hesitate to pull the trigger.

MagniPros Extra Large 10X Magnifying Glass - SilverPn the plus side, the lens is quality and it has bright LED lights. The fact that it stands up is pretty cool.However the exterior is cheap thin plastic that seems like it would crack or break if it were dropped. I would expect this to cost around $10.The one I received was defective - the LED lights sometimes don't turn on or flicker when they are on. This is being returned.

I bought this lighted magnifier for prescriptions and cosmetic use instructions which are often in a very tiny font. I sometimes need to do jewelry repair . Very nicely constructed and looks hardy. It even came with a case. The one feature that I am concerned about is the light switch. It’s very easy to turn on the light and adjust the levels but one pump in the drawer could activate the light switch again. I’m going to store this carefully but perhaps it designer has a solution. This is a good sized magnifier and can also be used for maps and fine reading.
