Neat idea and functionality except it isnt 10,000mAh
I really wanted to like this one! It looks great and the charging light turns on even indoors if you are near a window, so that is encouraging. The operation is smooth and intuitive. The indicator lights are quite bright and you can tell if they're on even when it's closed.But something is wrong with at least the item I received.It certainly isn't 10,000mAh because it can only almost make it through charging my 3000mAh phone once and then it is dead. I have several 10,000mAh battery packs and they each make it at least twice through charging my phone. I verifed this with a friend's 3000mAh phone as well.Strangely, when I connected an ammeter to verify it was charging at full speed, I found that my devices charge at 1A off the port labeled 2A, and 1.5A off the port labeled 1A. This may not be a universal experience but the ports are at least mislabeled.If this was advertised as a 3000mAh charger I'd be happy because it is neat despite the quirks.

Internal battery issues
I bought this solar charger in June and now, not quite five months later, it has gone kaput on me. The power bank will no longer hold a charge. I've tried leaving it on the charger overnight, but in the morning the first dot is still blinking. I'm fairly sure I haven't recharged it over five hundred times yet and as far as I know it hasn't taken any serious hits. However, before it's internal battery stopped working, it worked amazingly well for such a small device. It charges very quickly from its solar panels and even faster with a cord. 6.5/10 would buy again.

Battery works fine but solar charging is minimal.
After reading the reviews, I thought this solar battery would be more effective at solar charging than other solar batteries I've owned in the past. Unfortunately, this solar battery isn't very effective at solar charging either. After leaving the battery in the sun for five hours, I noticed no appreciable difference in the amount of stored charge in the battery. I left the battery in the sun beginning with a 3/4 charge and after 5 hours, the battery was still showing 3/4 charge.The battery works fine for backing up my IPad, but charging the battery via solar seems to be a long process at best or wishful thinking at worst.
