Ottiman French Fry Potato Cutter Stainless Steel,2 Blades

I ordered and quickly received in good condition the Ottiman French Fry Potato Cutter Stainless Steel,2 Blades. i thought this was going to be better quality that it was, it is very loosely put together and not manufactured as well as it could be. The concept is pretty good, but the execution of that concept has fallen short. I was happy to get it to work and with a little effort I was able to make a batch of the small cut fries. I had some difficulty with larger potatoes, but that was easily fixed with a knife.UPDATEIt only worked for 3 uses and then the blades would not be held in enough to slice potatoes any longer. Ever since I bought a deep fryer, my youngest has become obsessed with french fries. My hands hurt from cutting them daily, so when I saw this offer, I jumped on it. There are two cutters. One makes skinny fries like you'd get at McDonalds, and the other cutter is almost double in size. Great for more of a wedge fry. The only thing I'm not happy about is that it is all metal and some areas where you hold it are sharp, and it's a bit wobbly. We'll see how it holds up over time, but for now I'm liking not having to slice potatoes by hand every day. I received the potato cutter at a discount in exchange for an honest review.*UPDATE* Second time using it and it completely fell apart. Sad face.

Update: I asked for the missing part and they agreed to with no problems and then sent me a whole new product. Very good customer service!!I bought this hoping that this would help cut down on my time in cutting up potatoes. My family eats a LOT of potatoes. Also I really wanted to try my hand at making fresh French fries. It arrived and looked well build and easy to use. The only problem was I was missing a small rubber piece that goes on the bottom to balance it and keep it from scratching up my countertops. I emailed the seller and they were quick to respond they would send me the missing piece. I am still waiting on that and when I receive it and give it a try I will give more stars accordingly.*I received this product at a discounted price with a coupon code to review honestly. I started doing this bc I buy so many of my things from Amazon with my Prime membership and really depend on good reviews. I have written reviews for that reason without a discount. You don’t get paid for the review. You get the discount when you buy it, after that you can review it however you would like. It’s like getting a coupon to a clothing store and them asking you to review after you have worn the item. I have read people saying, they don’t believe those who get a discount but that tells me they don’t know how it works. I can write this product SUCKS or this is great and either way I got the discount. The only thing I do differently is write a more thorough review than I normally would on products I received at a discount.
