Bruno Munari: Drawing a Tree Paperback – July 2, 2004

This is truly a lovely little book. It's an unintimidating and thoughtful introduction to a simple drawing technique. Yes, it's just about trees. But there's a lot of inspiration here for thinking about how to look at things in the world, analyze them, and draw them. Apparently this is one in a series; I hope I can find some others.

Brilliant book by a gifted artist. I read it to my highly spirited 3 year old and it grounds him. He loves the images of the trees and it spikes his imagination.

Brilliant book that I learnt about whilst on a prof dev. very concise and makes sense when instructing young learners of the tasks involved when observing and recording trees. I wish I'd known about it earlier in my teaching career. love it.
