Very swell made compared to many
Nice sturdy finish. very solid as long as your bumper is likewise. Good design.

Fits up to 4" bumper; rides low
This product is well built, solid. Good value for the money. However, it rides low. If your bumper or attachment point isn't fairly high off the ground the tire will make contact with the ground going over bumps. Also, the bolts provided only work with bumpers 4" or smaller.

Hex bolts are too short for a 4x4" bumper
The tire carrier is very solid and well built. I like it. What I don't like is that the hex bolts are only good for a 3.5" bumper instead of a more standard 4x4" bumper on a travel trailer. Apparently I missed that detail when ordering it since the response I got back from customer service was, "Designed for use on trailer frames/tongues up to 5" maximum height and 3.5" maximum width. Includes a cable lock hole to secure your tire (lock not included) and all necessary mounting hardware. Installation may be completed on larger frames up to 5" x 5", such as RV bumpers, however additional hardware will be required (not included). Stud Size: M12 x 1.75 x 45."So apparently the mistake is mine, but very short sighted by the seller for such a sturdy carrier. So if you have a 4" bumper expect to spend more time and money on the install as you will need to buy your own hardware.

Very well built & sturdy
My original (very weak) spare mount, dropped the wheel as I pulled into a campground. There is no doubt, this mount will never fail. It is well built, decent welds and heavy material.Other than having to get some longer bolts (5”) to mount on my bumper, this is an excellent mount.

Bolts too short and not exact as local made bolts in stores
Too short of bolts in kit. And we’re China made bolts and had to buy longer bolts local and those American bolts didn’t fit in the holes. Had to ream holes bigger for bolts to fit

sturdy product
It is certainly a sturdy carrier and I like that it will fit a 6lug tire. I would have given it 5 stars, but I can't understand why they send 4.5" bolts with it. The description does say up to 3.5" bumper - but I'm assuming most of the target market are RV's with a 4 x 4 bumper. I had to spend an extra $10 on 5.5" bolts and lock washers, but otherwise seems like a decent carrier.

Heavy duty
Works good, heavy duty. Needed longer bolts for my application but not a big deal. Few dollars at the local hardware store and all good.
