Dog Infrared Massager with 2-Heated Heads.

I ordered this item three separate times. After the first, with a power source that did not work, I asked that Amazon ensure that I get the next in working condition. Instead, the next two had working power cords, but the device itself does not work at all-- no heat, no massage. I asked Amazon to discontinue this item.

Our 5 year old dog has arthritis in both hips and we occasionally give him pain pills. However, since purchasing the Silver Tails Infrared Massager, and using it a couple or three times a week, we have been able to cut back on the pills and he seems to move around a lot better. I have also used it on my leg that has arthritis and it eased the pain. I highly recommend this product.

Got this as a gift for my dad to use on his senior pitbull to help with her arthritis. Quiet and effective

The massager came fairly promptly but its very "under resourced" for my large dog. The nodules don't give the expected vibration and the heat lamps are pretty useless. We may return it and buy something better - I guess its what i should have expected at the price.

I doubt if I used this item 10 times in total.It will no longer accept a charge and therefore resulting in no heat or vibration so it is useless and destined for the garbage can.What a disappointment vs some of the very favorable reviews. We are now past the return date and have only had this a little over one month and probably should have looked into a return earlier but not high on my priority list because of the amount of money involved especially if I would have to pay for return shipping.Don't waste your money on this item.

I've only had the Silver Tails massager a little over a week, so I'm not sure how it'll hold up long term, but so far, so good. I was looking for an infrared massager to use on a recently healed dogbite scar on my face when I came across this one and decided to purchase it. It heats up to a quite warm but still comfortable level, and with the vibration, I can see that it's increasing blood flow to the area of the scar, so it's doing what it's supposed to do. I like that it's lightweight and cordless (rechargeable) and not overly loud. The middle section of it is molded to fit comfortably in the hand. All the "people" models I looked at are corded and look like they'd be heavy and awkward to use.I've tried the massager on my dogs, too, and they seem unsure what to make of it. Probably with repeated use they'd be a little more accepting of it. I'm sure that just depends on your dog.I thought the price was pretty reasonable. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend the Silver Tails Dog Infrared Massager as a good general-purpose heated massager.

Wow! I just gave my dog a 30 minute treatment. She is VERY relaxed and in a deep, deep sleep. Even walking on hardwood floors with shoes on, she didn't budge. -- Didn't even open her eyes. So far so good.Today was my first try using this.Edit:UPDATE: 06-18-15Did another treatment this morning for about 20 minutes. Seems the unit must be recharged after 45 minutes of use.No problem ... just sayin' ...Edit:UPDATE: 06-20-15Wish this thing had an on/off "switch" or a green lite to let you know it's "on".I couldn't figure out why the daRn thing wouldn't stay charged. (I never turned it "OFF". Duhhh!)If you don't have 20/20 vision, be sure the "on" button is UP when charging.(If you're just using the "light", and not the vibrator, it's easy to just stop the treatment and forget the "on" button is depressed.)UPDATE: 07-09-15Removing 2 stars because I have to recharge after every use.Even if I don't use it, it has to be recharged.

nothing to like. worse purchase I've ever made on Amazon. With so many bad reviews, I'm disappointed that Amazon allows them to continue selling this product. Why I bought this product with so many bad reviews? Took a chance, figuring that it was refundable. Big mistake on my part.
