Q: how stretchy/flexible are these socks?

Very! My Shoe size is 10 1/2W in women’s and they are perfect!

Q: Do these bind at the top on thicker ankles and leave a mark?

I think they would def bind/leave marks. I wear a size 9 (women) and they didnt even fit.. They were too tight and the heel part was under my foot. Had to give them to my 10 y/o. My opinion is: they're made for kids or women size 6 or under.

They stretch to your foot. Holds size well
