Don't but this system.
the collar is not at all durable. the small rubber button comes out . This exposes the inside of the collar to water and moisture.The first receiver fell off the collar. I bought a replacement and the company sent me a replacement. both my collars have lost the rubber button. I also have had problems with the battery being used up in 2 days.

Build to last, verry disappointed
Does not hold up, purchased two and within weeks both came apart. Electric studs back out and the collar falls apart in the yard.

Poorly made collar
Collar was used for couple days and the prongs loosened and fell off, one of the prong guards cracked and fell off. The unit stopped working after 6 days of use. The on/off switch broke off and battery went dead. System gave no warning of its failure and no indication of battery life. The brand new 9V battery died in less than a week. The collar seemed to shock the dog too much. They became very afraid to venture anywhere for days, staying mostly on the porch and seemed very scared and unhappy. The webbing on the collar is also of very poor quality. When the guard and prongs came off, there is nothing to hold the receiver on the collar. The whole thing just fell out.

Since applying the new collar to my dog it has not shown any signs of malfunction, weak parts. or wear and tear of normal use. The collar works every time she approaches the no boundary zone keeping her in the yard and out of the neighbors trash.I am so grateful for the honest sellers on amazon who stand behind their products and strives to making a long-term relationship with their customers. This seller has proven to me that they are here to stay and for the long haul not just to make a quick buck to just leave the customer empty handed. Thank you for being an honest seller and standing behind your product.I have a pit bull fur baby named Darcy who loves to roam the neighborhood at night and get into everyone's trash for that day with leftover food from their meal that night. We had been looking into an electric dog fence since last summer but just have not got around to getting one. The final straw was when she became sick from her neighborhood stay out all night rummaging party we decided that it was time to put a stop to her nightly outings. We decided on the electric dog fence by simple pet. We already understood the process and amount of time we would have to set aside one weekend to be able to install the wires and bury them as the product calls for.We finally got a weekend where my husband was not working and the weather was acting normal ( we live in Georgia and the weather here is crazy one day it snows then the very next day it is hot sunny and 80 ). We got everything that we needed to do this job correctly and got to work. We ran the wire throughout the property and buried when it called for being underground and poured concrete mix for burying on the drive way. This is not a quick job so please allow yourself the whole day to complete. That evening when it was all hooked up and we thought it was ready to go we put the collar on Darcy and it was not right it started beeping when she was on the front porch or not beeping when she was near the wire it was a mess. The next day my husband already knew where the problem was and it was a quick fix something to do with the wire in the back yard was crossed. That day we trained her, my husband is not one to put a lot of time when it comes to teaching boundaries to anyone or anything. He did, however, spend about 3 hours with her showing her all the do not cross zones. She is a quick learner also.Everything work beautifully for about 4 days and the next thing I know the FedEx man is knocking on the door telling me that Darcy went to the do not cross area and the collar beeped but then she just went on across and down the dirt road she went and never looked back til that evening some time and of course she was sick that night and for about 3 days afterwards. Upon inspection of the system and collar we noticed that the button on the collar that turns it on or off has just came out and now the system might work and might not. There is no way for my husband to fix the button because it came completely out leaving a whole and that is it just nothing. So I don't know if the seller will send out new collars or not. I am now left trying to figure out our next step in resolving our night prowler issue. My husband will not allow for me to try another brand after the trouble with this one. Can't blame him really too much money, time, effort, for nothing.DISCLOSURE: Product received to test with the option to review.
