It’s an alright product
I’ve had this for a while now but it doesn’t work like it did when I first got it. It’s not as hot or as smooth to straighten as it used to be. Dissatisfied

Survived over two years & is HOT, HOT.
This was the best straightener i’ve Had in my life so far! I brought it in early 2016, and it last me until this week. It unfortunately broke while gliding it thru my hair and a little bit of hair got caught. So, naturally I just pulled the straightener know it would break my hair, but not expecting the plate to FALL out. The straightener also gets EXTREMELY hot, and doesn’t have an automatic shut off. Overall, I had a great experience with this straightener. It’s travel to many countries , and different states with me. Survived my luggage and many drops. Also, first straightener to die on me by broken plate rather then the deadly pop, spark, and smoke. Only took my star away for not having the automatic shut off because the heat damaged my sink.

Good one
Pricey but a good flat iron. Very pretty too. Gets hot, which I read is what we want.

Not Recommended At All
This iron is mediocre in performance and quality. The iron is very heavy to hold and has a semi long heat up time. This isn't an iron I'd honestly recommend and the price the company charges full price is outrageous for the quality of this iron.My hair texture is 3C/4A and it is relaxer free. It requires high heats to lay flat. All of my irons is set to 450 degrees when in use. Before any flat ironing can begin I start with clean freshly shampooed and conditioned hair. I then blow dry, prestreching it so that it is easier to iron out. I use a blow out cream which also protects my hair from heat damage and a vented brush when blow drying. After I'll apply a argon oil serum and a frizz busting serum to my hair. These oils aide in getting my hair to lay flat with out any frizz.Iron snagged my hair upon first use. I thought that maybe it was user error but it wasn't as the second time I ran the iron across a different section of hair it was snagged. I also had issues with my iron staying on. The placement of the on and off switch makes it very easy to turn this iron on and off while in use. The iron didn't even stay plugged in when I was using it. I was constantly giggling the cord to get it to turn back in. This iron doesn't glide down a section of hair well. It is very choppy thus leading to the snagged hair I spoke of earlier. The iron does swivel while in use making it easy to use. It goes up to 450 degrees but it's very difficult to maintain any temperature selected on this iron.I don't recommend this iron simply due to the fact it snags at hair. It does work to smooth down hair but it doesn't work well as it cannot guide down smoothly. The only good thing about this iron is the fact it is very attractive to look at. I'm happy to say that I didn't pay full price as I received this for a promotional price. Had I paid full price I would have promptly returned this iron.*** In exchange for my unbiased and honest review I received this iron for a promotional price.

Hair glides through effortlessly
I had my previous flat iron for many years and never had a problem with it despite the fact that my husband accidently dropped it in the toilet tank. I let it dry out for a few months and it worked like a charm until recently. The plates began to loose their finish and when I was done doing my hair I had a bunch of fly always and loose hairs sticking straight up. It was very noticeable which bothered me. It also became difficult to keep clean so it was time for a new one.The peacock design is what attracted me, I thought it was pretty. This flat iron does a great job. It heats up quickly, it can heat up to 450 but I usually use it at about 400. I am Hispanic and have naturally frizzy hair but it also has a lot of body. I dye my hair it's it's a little on the dry side. This flat iron straightens my hair effortless. My hair glides through the plates easily, I don't hear dragging or crunching sounds and it does not pull my hair. It usually only takes a few pass-throughs until my section of hair is nice, straight and bouncy. The plates are ceramic so they heat up evenly meaning the temperature should be the same on the front tip of the plates as it on the center and back of the plates. The ionic technology reduces fizziness and fly-away hairs. The cord has a 360 turn and is long which I really like and it's very user friendly. The packaging is divine, it comes in a beautiful box with a magnetic closure with a comb and a felt type sleeve for travel.I really like this product but there a few cons. My biggest con would be the cord. It's made up of very stiff plastic material that has a lot of memory and I'm worried that it will eventually crack. The curling iron I had previously had a supple rubber material and never experienced cracking or breakage but it didn't have the 360 swivel cord like this flat iron. The location of the on/off switch and temperature dial is located in between the plates by the hinge. I thought this was an odd place and worry it will eventually be effected by the heat of the plates. All in all I am happy with my purchase.I was granted the opportunity to purchase this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. Looks amazing but a little bulky feeling
I had a revlon crackle 1" hair straightener and this one works better. It is however bulkier feeling but the amazing looks of it makes up for that. It also came with a heat resistant pad which was great.Disclaimer: I did receive this product at a discount or or free in return for my honest opinion. With that said I only request to review products which I feel would get used as often as anyone else purchasing said item. I also only request products that I myself or my immediate family can thoroughly test. If anything changes/breaks I update my reviews. I do not always give 5 stars, quite often I find myself giving 3 or 4 stars but have given many 1 star review as well. If I received a damaged product and they accepted the exchange at no further cost to me including shipping then I review the product based upon the second one I receive.
