Bratwurst Fresh Sausage Seasoning Seasons 25 Lbs. #882

The flavor was a basic traditional brat herb with a perceptible saltiness and white pepper, but not overpowering. Some of the salt is likely from my grind (see below if you care).It wasn't the cheapest available, but it has enough herbs etc to give good flavor without them resorting to MSG. And you're going to pay for quality over cheating thru chemistry.I used 5 lbs of venison with 1.3 lbs of pork fatback in my grind, and used 1-5/8 ounces of the seasoning packet (so I was technically under-seasoning a bit). The fatback was salted so I rinsed it, but I'm sure it added to the overall saltiness of the final product.
