past May one day be your future
Forgiveness, bravery, facing your fears, family dynamics, adoption, redemption, romance, this book has it all. Enjoy the storyline it kept me up all night, finished the book. It was definitely a easy read, through feelings, good and bad, people forgetting to have scruples, respect for privacy, empathy..

“I’m there most me when I’m with you—because you’re the only one who sees the real me.”
Have you ever laid on a blanket in a country field on a warm, clear summer night looking up at the sparkling sky? All those stars brilliantly twinkling and shining like diamonds? This book deserves every one of those stars. The title say it all! I’ve loved every story in this series, but April and Tyler are, hands down, my favorite. There’s just something about a broken hero who thinks he has no capacity for love or happiness, and the heroine who helps him find the soft, squishy heart he's had all along. Ahhh, they've completely absconded with my heart, and Tyler and April truly are unforgettable!April is the last of the Sawyer girls to find her special someone, but that's not a big surprise. She's been too busy with her event planning business, and hiding the deepest of secrets for nearly two decades, to even look for Mr. Right. Just as she's trying to get closure on her past by fulling trusting those closest to her, Tyler Shaw comes back to town. Things just got a lot more complicated.Tyler would rather hide out in his mountain cabin than return to the town where he grew up, but he's promised to walk his sister down the aisle at her wedding. Not long ago, he had it all -- professional baseball career, fame and fortune -- until he lost his pitching mojo during a World Series game. Now everyone has opinions and criticism on his failed career, and they’re not shy about sharing.I couldn’t ask for these characters to have been more perfectly crafted! They’re authentic and complex, messy and vulnerable yet strong and determined, and so darn relatable I felt every emotion of their journey alongside them. I adore everything about these two! Tyler broke my heart and then made me want to give him a swift kick or two, and when he finally pulls himself up by the boot straps and gets himself together, it’s as spectacular as it is awe inspiring. And April is one of those females we all aspire to be, her kindness, compassion and generosity allowing her to see beyond Tyler's façade and deep to the heart of him, and making me want to celebrate her through every step of her journey! If there is a formula for penning a exceptional novel, this gifted writer has not only mastered it but improved on it. I was captivated from the very first page, devouring every word and reading straight through in one sitting because it is absolutely, undeniably impossible to put down! Bleary eyed, I read into the wee hours of the morning, thrilled with the hours spent with these amazing characters but devastated to reach the end.Cloverleigh Farms easily goes to the top of my list of best series ever. It's like the end of an era, reading this final book, but I’ll gladly return to these characters and their stories, once again submerging myself in the emotional ebb and flow of this glorious book world. April and Tyler's story is the consummate cherry on top of this exquisite treat, one you'll want to immerse yourself in and stay in forever. Run to the 1-Click and start reading today! These characters will steal your heart and burrow deep into your soul, and you’ll love every second of their poignant, inspiring, remarkable story!

Disappointed
Three stars because, honestly, Melanie Harlow knows how to write a book. The pacing was good. The writing was smooth and the editing was professional. But I could not bring myself to give more than three stars. In many ways, I wanted to give less. I don’t know if that is “fair” or not. But from almost the first pages, I just had this awful feeling of dread and “squickiness”. And it never went away. Not even by the last page.Tyler is just not a hero. There is nothing about him to admire. The only thing he has going for him is a six pack. He is inherently selfish, from the beginning of the novel to the end. It’s bad enough that after getting April pregnant at 18, he never even checks back up on her to make sure she’s ok, and bad enough that he put every single onus on her to deal with the consequences....but he legitimately never even spared a thought about it again. He honestly didn’t care. And, call me judgmental, but he really doesn’t deserve to get a family of his own at the end or to have April—not because he allowed his child to be adopted, but because every. Single. Thing. In his life has always been about himself. The sex scenes left me feeling completely icky and I skipped them as much as possible. Making jokes about using two condoms after bringing a child into the world when you literally wouldn’t allow your name on the birth certificate is just not funny. It felt sad. Pathetic, really. His lusting after her felt selfish and wrong. April is 100 percent forgiving of him—no, that’s not right. She doesn’t forgive him because she doesn’t feel he ever did anything wrong leaving her to deal with the consequences. I think it was the author’s way of trying to make us accept that it was all a-ok. Instead, it made April look like a willing martyr and punching bag- which continues to the very last page. April struggles with guilt over whether she did the right thing for her child. Meanwhile, Tyler honestly never cared about the kid at all. April gave him up to give him a better life. Tyler just forgot he ever existed so he could enjoy his $2 million dollar signing bonus and MLB career. It made him imminently unlikable, and while April felt he didn’t need to be forgiven, as a reader, I just found him weak, selfish and honestly just a piece of trash. SO much of this is told from his perspective. As readers, we are in his head a lot. You would think it would make him a sympathetic character, but he was just unrelatable. His behavior made him feel like he should have been the “bad guy”- the horrible douche from April’s past that she needs to get over to find someone who deserves her.As you can expect because it is like clockwork in any romance novel, somewhere around 75% the couple has their big confrontation/relationship blow up scene, and instead of wanting them to kiss and makeup I kinda sort of wanted April to move on, find an awesome guy and be happy...and Tyler to go ahead and live alone as a crotchety old hermit in the mountains until he drank himself into a gimpy liver. And that is the clincher for me. This is a ROMANCE novel that just was not romantic. It felt more disappointing and tragic than anything else. There are so many circumstances where I understand and condone giving a child up for adoption. But this scenario seems so false to me. April has this martyr character who just wouldn’t have done it. She had strong family support. She even could have gone to a local college. Her parents would 💯 have helped her. The father had a crap ton of money for financial support. It felt like a sloppy plot device. It made no sense. It’s rare that I feel worse for having read a book, but this is one of those times. I’ll probably remember how much I disliked these characters, and especially Tyler, for a long time. I actually feel like I wish I could go shower this story off my brain.

This was Unforgettable
Whoa, what a great ending to the original series. April really intrigued me from the first book and the fact that see is a redhead made me like her even more. She made a decision in her past that she wants to revisit now. I loved her for it. I loved how this story played out and the growth of the mmc, Tyler. He worked on my nerves but redeemed himself in the end. I was so happy for all the characters involved and this absolutely made my heart swell. I really adore anytime a kid is involved in a story and that kid gets a happy ending and better life in anyway possible.

beautiful way to end the series
I am going to miss cloverleigh farm and the sawyer sisters. I loved this series and april and Tyler was my favorite couple. If only the author would write a small book with an extended epilogue for all of the sisters!

Loved April & Tyler so much
She had officially become my reading balm - slumping hard….unsure what to read…..broken or mentally exhausted by a dark romance…Melanie's books are like a lifeboat in the stormy seas of a reading slump, I just adore the sweetness of them. And unforgettable is no different, I blasted through this in a day, and the last story from the original Cloverleigh series didn't let me down in any way.I loved reading about the last of the Sawyer sisters, April & her baby daddy, Tyler's story. For me it definitely felt like the most emotional of all five of the books. It was a lovely story to tie up this portion of the Cloverleigh Farm story and I'm ready to go straight into the next generation featuring the original 5 sisters' kids.I can't wait.

Unforgettable
It is a beautiful story I read twice over the years, through KindleUnlimited subscription. Now I need to purchase this book to secure it in my library for future enjoyment. The plot is rich with twists of events and awesome developments. It is about caring, trust, family, in one word love, true love, all enhanced by a very good writer Melanie Harlow. Thank you.
