I Have Never Been So Impressed With A Bracket.
I must say I am surprised by the number of petty complaints I saw in other reviews. This is a well made quality item with a unique design that is strong and assembles quickly. It took me maybe 15 minutes to open the package, sort the parts, glance at the assembly diagram and put them together. After the first one I could probably crank them out very quickly. I only needed 2 but if I needed 100 brackets I would want this design. They seemed a little pricey at first but after I saw the quality of the materials I was very satisfied. I had originally considered fabbing up a couple of brackets myself from hardware store parts but if you consider design & drive time, measuring, cutting, assembly, etc. these are definitely worth the sixty-something I spent with shipping.First of all, they are not that sharp. I wouldn't use them for playground furniture but they are just average stamped metal parts. If you have symphony-conductor hands and can't walk out of hardware store without needing a band-aid you (might) need to wear gloves.Secondly, you don't need to grind on them to get them to fit together. There is a little tension built into the ingeniously-designed joints so that there is no slop in the end product. You DO need to apply some decent pressure to align up the single bolt hole and complete the assembly but the end result is like a single, solid piece. No flex. No rattle. Solid. Very cool.So...If you have ever used a hacksaw you will appreciate the design and if you can change a tire by yourself you won't need a helmet to put these together...and if you can't change a tire go teach yourself !!!!Now rate my review 'cause I type like crap and this took me a long time. :)

Easy to install and worked great when added the universal mounting rails from the home improvement store. Ended being surprisingly sturdy.

Quality Bracket. Want details?
I haven't installed but have assembled them. They are not sharp. They come with a simple pictorial assembly sheet. I originally thought the screw holes in the gusset (diagonal piece) were off. They're not. When you assembly the 2 heavier gauge right angle pieces together they form an angle slightly more than 90 degrees. You have to apply a little force to squeeze the angle to 90 degrees to get the gusset screw in. When assembled it is 90 degrees. Do not modify by removing any metal (e.g. oblonging a hole). The assembly is tight and is critical to its strength. One tip to aid assembly is to spread the "L" ends on the vertical piece slightly further apart than how they come. This helps the tabs into the slots. It's pretty easy to see what's going on when you assemble. The thickness of the gusset is .047" (1.2mm). The 2 right angle pieces are .094" (2.4mm). The description doesn't say so but it comes with rubber vibration pads (similar to the ones that come with the China made Homydom model) and screws/washers/nuts. The gusset screws (with nylon lock nuts) are M10 x 50mm and the vibration pad screws are M8 x 25mm. The hardware is zinc plated steel. The brackets are stamped "homecomfortinternational.com". That and kaussmann.com (which are the same because they have the same physical address) don't have much information or many other places to buy. Yes, I would say it's over-priced for what you get, but all brackets are. It is made in Canada and Amazon's seller (Boca Supply) appears to drop ship them from the manufacturer. I chose these over the Homydom brackets because those are made in China. I've bought a number of high quality products made in Canada. I plan on mounting these brackets with aluminum Unistrut. McMaster.com has it, even without holes so you can drill your own so you don't have a million extra holes.

Nice design
Nice design. Very sturdy for our 9k mini split. The predrilled holes in the bracket were not in the exact place we needed but the metal was easy to drill additonal holes.

Good design, flawed fabrication
There are things to like about this patent-pending design. There are things to dislike as well. Here's what you'll like. The unique design offers a tremendous amount of strength. No question it will comfortably hold most outdoor condensing units. Now for the problems. You will cut yourself if you're not careful or wearing gloves. The fabricator made no attempt to smooth sharp edges, and your fingers will pay the price. Plus, there isn't a photo of the completed assembly attached, so you will have to go back online to see what it's supposed to look like. There's no hardware to attach the bracket to a structure. There are no anti-vibration pads. And the predrilled holes did not align to my condensing unitt. There are plenty of more viable options on the market. I was "tricked" into buying this set b/c of Amazon Prime shipping. In the end, it wasn't worth the money or my time.

Good Quality Sturdy Brackets.. But you need to adjust the fit.
Sturdy aluminum brackets with a good wall thickness. The horizontal and the angledpiece interlock with stamped shapes (not holes) and there is one bolt that holds ittogether. Manufacturing tolerance is very tight on the stamped shapes and you haveto force the angled bar and horizontal bar together to align the bolt hole. With a slightmanufacturing adjustment they would fit properly. Good Quality.

Amazing Quality!
Before purchasing, I read the reviews here on Amazon. Several complained that the pieces were hard to assemble because they were made too tight. WRONG! These brackets went together within seconds. Is it a tight fit? Yes. Does that make it hard to assemble? Not at all, unless you are weak as a newborn kitten. The bracket only needs one bolt to hold it together, which is a genius design. Once I mounted it to the side of the house, I stood on it to test the strength. A single bracket easily held me, and I weigh almost 200 lbs. Well worth the price, especially since they are aluminum and won't rust.
