Just bought my third bib. First one was for my mom, second as a gift for an elderly friend in rehab, third a new one for my mom again. This is really the best product since sliced bread. My mom (88 years old) has back problems so she can't hold her head near to the plate when eating. Regular napkins kept sliding down despite my best efforts to tuck them in around her neck. As a result she ruined a lot of blouses and sweaters (some stains just don't come out). After I got her the Decked Out Daddy bib (blue color), this situation was remedied. Like other reviewers noted, mom was initially resistant to wearing the bib in public but relented when I reminded her of all the ruined clothes. My comment "What would you prefer, wearing this nice bib -- which really looks like an apron -- while you eat, or walking around in public with all those grease stains on your blouse, sweater and slacks?" She couldn't argue with this logic. I keep one in the car and take it with us when we eat out. My new one is for traveling. Fit is great. Covers her entire torso and lap and can be kept loose or cinched tight around the neck (especially useful when eating soup or "crumby" food). Once mom even spilled an entire 16 ounce soft drink on her lap. I groaned when this happened, expecting soaked slacks, shoes and socks. To my surprise, the liquid (and ice cubes) were all captured in her lap in the "bowl" created by the bib (she sits in a wheelchair with her feet slightly raised in the footrests). I carefully lifted the bib by its four corners and was able to pour the contents in a wastebasket (at the food court). Amazingly, not a drop of liquid had dribbled over the edges or leaked through the waterproof material! The bib has more than payed for itself! Oh, and did I mention that it looks great? Once its on, you really can't notice that she's wearing it at all. Most of the time I put a napkin on top of the bib -- to protect the bib! That way I don't have to wash it as much. But it washes great (delicate cycle with air drying). As an elder caregiver this bib is probably the most useful item on my toolbelt!

I’ve purchased at least 5 of these bibs. I’ve tried several other types, including disposable types, but these are the best for me. I am large breasted, and have hand tremors, so spills happen and that is a problem. These bibs are light weight, easy to put on, adjust, and take off. I just ordered 2 new bibs, and the lining looks and feels like it’s a little heavier and stiffer than the older ones. Maybe because the new ones are waterproof. These are still lighter and more comfortable that anything else I’ve tried. These bibs are easy to wash and dry. If someone needs a heavy duty full coverage bib, this one is probably not appropriate, but for lighter duty, it’s the best.

These bibs give generous coverage and dependable protection. I have been washing the bibs I originally ordered for three years now and they are still in perfect condition. Cats and dogs are the only reason I had to order more. Do not let your cat play with the string. Cats can crunch the bead that slides along the string to adjust the fit - rendering it useless. Dogs chewed them to get at crumbs. As long as your pets cannot get their paws on these bibs, they are the perfect thing to ease difficult mealtimes.

This is a beautifully made bib for seniors. The dark blue color and material is very nice, and we also purchased the green, which looks even better than the green in the picture. For some reason, the picture in Amazon looks like a lighter green, but it is a little deeper/richer color. These bibs are nice to use on trips to a restaurant, and they don't look like infant bibs. We'll eventually buy the brown one too. One suggestion is to maybe use a mesh laundry bag to insert the bib in while washing to avoid any lint from towels that might be in the same wash load.

If I could suggest two possible adjustments to the design, the first would be that the portion of the adjustable cord that touches the back of the neck could be made somewhat wider, perhaps with a sliding sleeve, so that the cord is more comfortable on the skin when contact is made as it is cinched up . The second would be to consider if there were some way to partially fold upward, possibly with velcro, possibly through stitching, the bottom two or three inches of the apron to catch dropped food. The recipient of this item spends much too much time trying to locate dropped food while eating a meal.

Finally!! An adult bib that has a touch of class and elegance, and is well made. Although the taffeta lining (waterproof!) was a bit "noisy" when new, after the first washing the material softened up very nicely, and still maintains its waterproofing qualities. The demure tones of the color we selected (a dark navy blue), are so much better in a public setting, than the bright flowers and paisley prints most adult bib makers offer. Dad always made a joke about looking like an escapee from some weird circus for octogenarian foodies, when he had to wear one of those gaudy bibs at the club. Needless to say, he is very pleased with the "One Decked-Out Daddy" bibs, as are we! 5-stars x 10.

I ordered several different bibs for my 87-year-old father who has Parkinson's Disease. This has become his favorite and I just ordered 2 more. The bib is soft and comfortable. His favorite feature is the adjustable neck strap. (We had to add extensions to some other bibs I had ordered because they were too tight around his neck). The adjustable strap of this bib is perfect and easy for him to self-adjust. The size and shape overall are also perfect. The bib is aesthetically pleasing. This is a well-thought out, well-constructed bib and I am grateful to have found it. Thank you PalliPartners for excellent and comfortable construction.

I ordered this & a so called medical grade bib. This is by FAR the better product. The quality is so much higher! The appearance is so good I am not ashamed when I wear it in public.The medical grade bib looks like it is from an institution {cheap & disposable}, yet they are both priced the same! I am very pleased with the Quality of this Decked-out Daddy. I very seldom review a product unless it has serious problems, but I highly recommend This Bib!

This bib is the most amazing bib we ever received. My husband has MS and it's hard for him to do up bibs behind his neck and they don't look good. This One Decked Out Daddy Bib is so easy to use, just put over your head and slide the ball up or down to tighten or loosen and its in the front for easy access. We received it so quickly and the creator Mindy was such a pleasure to deal with. My husband is so happy that we ordered 2 more. The quality and look is the best we ever seen.

Our dad has been getting a little clumsy in his older age and has been dropping or spilling food down his front. Didnt want a loss of dignity from a full on bib so this discreet bib was just the trick. The navy matches his jumpers so look like part of his outfit if visitors are round. Love the names of the bibs, would be nice if they were maybe embroidered on too.

Decked Out Daddy bibs are perfect for anyone wanting to look 'Distinguished' while dining. They are well made, wash very well and the adjustable strap is very user friendly. My 86 year old Father loves them. We have ordered 7 😊
