Heavy Duty
Heavy duty box. Knock outs need to be drilled out with metal hole saw or use metal punch. The 2 small screws that hold face plate of receptical in place are useless. I recommended using some better slightly larger screws. I also replaced ground wire with same gauge but about 2X the length to help with installation.

Did the job but difficult to install
I just installed with the 6.6kW charger that came with my 2020 Nissan Leaf, using 6/3 wire and a 50 amp breaker. The outlet box is good quality, no complaints there. 4 rather than 5 stars because the space left at the back of the box is quite small and fitting three 6 gauge wires into the space was very difficult. Each wire has to bend sharply at the screw terminal and several times while trying to install the box I had the wires come out of the terminals even though I had cranked the screws down very tightly. Now that the job is done I'm happy with the product but getting it installed was a real bear.

Great for my Tesla mobile charger
Installed this when I had the power lines ran for my Tesla charging solution, and have been very happy with it. Haven't had to lock it due to how far into my property the install is, but it's nice to have in case its ever needed. The lock would only protect the 14-50 Tesla adapter, and not the charger itself, so the main purpose or locking it would be to prevent tampering.Great quality tho.

Why did I wait to buy this?
I should have bought this when I originally had my EV Charger setu0 outside, however I was stoopeed! Now I have it and it works as designed and is great. Be sure to get one to protect your EV charging outlet or RV shore power outlet. It is worth it to ensure you protect that plug from the elements

It was great! Just note that it is hard to punch the hole out for the wire. It is not punched out at all.

HD Housing
Well made, thick metal box. Plug also seems to be a good quality. Pre-wired ground on outlet is a bit short. I add a longer ground to make connections a little easier.
