Best Find Ever
Update 2021: My last order was in the metal tin and super hard to open - I discovered it had been double-packed in two of the metal tins and under two metal lids! I had to toss the tin and pour it into the old one! Nothing went bad, but it risked metal flakes and made opening the tin a really big process! I assume it's just manufacturing things - and I just bought more after running out, again! Definitely a repeat customer as long as they let me.Original: A note right away: I don't use this to make liquid milk to drink. I purchased this to add to food and baking recipes, and for use in mixed drinks like tea, milkshakes, and hot cocoa. This stuff is amazing. It does require some insistent stirring because it doesn't dissolve after 2-3 lazy stirs.Recommended for dissolving: mix the powder with a little cold water first (it doesn't cake and mixes much easier) in order to make it more of a slush liquid, then add hot water and stir it to dissolve. This eliminates a lot of the clumpiness most people complain about. Also, I stir mine a lot. I enjoy making my cocoa super frothy so I stir rather violently, and rarely have issues with clumping. This has been so amazing I plan to buy more because milk is crazy expensive at the market and we don't shop every two weeks, sometimes we go 4-5 weeks. I was so happy to find this and will rebuy for sure. It doesn't have that weird chemically flavor that a lot of the other ones do.

It tastes great
I had never had instant milk before. After comparing the nutritional value of a few similar products. I decide on this. I like this with slightly higher protein content. It also tasted very natural. It tastes just like milk in super market. It is more expensive than boxed milk. But it has a longer shelf life (the manufacturer claimed one year after opened, and 10 years if unopen.) Another advantage is that it doesn't take up fridge space and require constant cooling. Perfect for emergency.

Takes longer than others to dissolve.
Flavor is fine. Tastes like milk. Long shelf life if you store unopened. I use it routinely. Takes longer than other brands to dissolve. Not a bad thing, just be aware. I have ordered multiple times. EVERY shipment, the can has arrived dented. Not sure if that is product or a packing issue. Has never arrived where dent had broken through, yet.

I'm Prepared for the Future Now
Note: I purchased the 60 oz can back in April. The manufacture date stamped on the bottom of the can is February 10, 2020. Being able to store the can for the promised amount of time depends on receiving the can soon after the manufacture date, but unfortunately the company doesn't state when or how often it makes its batches (one of the other reviewers said that the company sells the product within roughly three months of manufacturing, but I see no way to verify this before buying—maybe he or she knows it from experience).Pros:• Longevity. It will last for 10 years unopened. If you are preparing for a time when fresh milk is harder to get, this should serve that purpose.• Nutrition. This has slightly more protein than fresh milk, and it has some vitamin C. And of course, it has no fat or cholesterol.• Taste. This is the first powdered milk I've ever tried. Before I tried it, I was worried about the taste, because everyone says powdered milk tastes bad. However, I cannot distinguish between this and fresh skim milk. It's completely inoffensive.• Convenience. It's easier to make than I expected. Almost no clumping when mixing with scalding hot water; and I use a whisk, not a stick blender.Cons:Its longevity comes at a price...• Money. There are 41 servings per can, and each serving is 0.25 cups of powder, so there are 10.25 cups of powder per can. According to the instructions, it takes 2.5 cups to make a gallon of milk. Therefore, each can will make 4.1 gallons of milk. At the current cost of $29.95, that's a price per gallon of $7.30. That's more than twice as expensive as a gallon of fresh milk from my local store ($3.59 as of this writing).• Taste. Although I cannot distinguish between this and fresh skim milk, nonfat milk will never taste as good as whole milk, or even 2 percent.• Nutrition. This has much less vitamin D than fresh whole milk (but—surprisingly—more than the powdered whole milk varieties I've seen so far). If you expect to rely solely on powdered milk in the future, I suggest investing in another source of vitamin D.Six-Week Update (10.21.2020):• Because I received the product months ago, I will not provide a six-week update (unless something important changes).

Excellent delivery time, well packed.
I received this several weeks ago and purchased it because most well known brands were out of stock and it .50 cents an ounce the least expensive one still in stock. It came in a plain labelled large can, very much a powder not grainy like store bought Carnation. It didn't mix well so I now put it in small cup of warm water and mix, strain and remix with right amount of water. I gave it a poor review and I am here to retrack it right now. IT IS EXCELLENT TASTING MILK, it does not smell like powdered milk at all, nor does it leave that nasty powdered milk after taste. I am going to try to order a larger quantity right now.

Best choice I found for powdered milk
I was really impressed with this milk. I'm not a good judge of taste since I don't drink it - I use it for cooking and making yogurt. But it mixed up much better than I had expected. (It did best if I just stirred it lightly then let it sit for a while to dissolve. Whisking it hurried the process but made it froth.) It arrived quickly and in good shape; did exactly what I wanted it to! The can was not dented at all and it stayed nice and fresh. I love the powdered form because I can mix up just as much as I need for any given project; I also make an evaporated milk substitute by doubling the powder ratio. I also use a higher ratio of powder to make yogurt that is somewhat thicker but still creamy. The powder doesn't need refrigeration and doesn't go bad (at least for the months that mine lasted). The price was actually fairly comparable to what I can get in the grocery store these days. Mine came with a complete label that answered all the questions (nutrition info, instructions, source, etc) that another reviewer complained of not getting - maybe the label was missing from theirs, but all of that info is also available in the Amazon listing.
