This is True and False For dry lube cars: We have found that there is a threshold for grit. It seems that after a certain grit, the dry lube no longer can "stick" to the surface of the axle. What we have found is that beyond grit XXXXX (ha-ha, thought we were going to tell?) the times get slower. We were so surprised! This fidning has let us fine tune our timed cars to get best possible times going against the standard myth. Believe it or not guys, the grit threshold is not that high! For oil lubed cars: We have found that higher the grit, the faster the car. 0.030" Precision wheel gap gauge. Gives you 0 .030"every time, the best possible gap for proper wheel installation. Does not mar or damage your wheels or body of your car unlike the metal counterpart. Will work with most car designs. Don't waste you time or your wheel to a nylon pipe cleaner from your local hobby or hardware store. It will rub scratches or possibly even melt your wheel because of friction.
