Drill/Drvr 3/8in Crdlss 12v Li

Good solid drill, Battery does-not interchange with Rockwell 12 volt impact driver very well(slightly larger battery, fits very tightly) This is a low-RPM tool, the clutch is solid feeling.

This is a good product for a good price.

If you're sick of big heavy 20 volt monsters try this. I have a couple of them and they are my go-to units for drilling and light driver duty.

I have Rockwell drills and impact drivers. this 12V drill/driver works good for most of my handyman jobs.

I received this as a gift and at first I thought I wouldn't like this drill based on the size of the box and the small size of the drill. I was definitely wrong to judge this one on size. This has quickly become my favorite drill around the workshop. The small size I scoffed at on first sight is one of the things I love about this drill.It's small and compact but it feels very heavy and sturdy. I've had large battery drills that don't feel as hefty or perform as well as this little guy. The smaller size makes this perfect for use in tight spaces and allows it to be stored easily.At first I thought this thing might be a weakling but it can put out 110 in lbs of torque and has exceeded any of my initial expectations. This drill operates at a speed of 0-700 RPM and it has 18+1 clutch settings. This thing performs better than any of my cheap 12 or 14 volt cordless drills!I've never once experienced the 3/8" keyless chuck slipping or giving me problems. . . I can't even say that about bigger name brand drills I own.The battery is yet another area where I almost dismissed this drill. The 1.3 Ah 12 V Li-ion battery pack lasts a looong time. When it does need charged the small and compact charger gets you back in the game in 3-5 hours.The comfort grip handle is soft and comfortable for extended periods of time.There really isn't much I can complain about. What I thought was a cute little baby drill I'd use gently for hobby use ended up being my go to drill for many applications. I simply love this thing!...PROS:+ Small size allows this to get into smaller areas and workspaces and makes storage easy. No big bulky battery packs or chargers. No huge drill body getting in the way.+ The bright white LED light does a great job of illuminating the drill bit/work area.+ This thing feels hefty and solidly built.+ Comfortable and well designed grip+ The battery lasts a long time.+ The small and compact battery charger charges the battery in 3-5 hours.+ The keyless chuck has been flawless and no issues with slippage etc.+ The Lithium ion battery has a high capacity and there's no "memory effect" where the battery will get stuck with a partial charge.+ Available locally in some Menards Home Improvement stores.+ The manufacturer offers a "Free batteries for life program" so you never need to worry about buying replacement batteries for the life of the drill. I have no idea how well the program works since I haven't had any need for a new battery yet....CONS:- I really haven't found anything to complain about yet. Obviously this 12 Volt drill isn't going to handle your toughest drilling jobs but it's fantastic for 95% of my drilling and driving needs. I typically reach for this little wonder above other drills in the garage and workshop. I love it!
