These high quality vests are made from super soft and warm organic Merino wool combined with pure Mulberry silk. These simple sleeveless vest are the perfect first layer from autumn through to spring. They're so comfortable next to the skin that you won't want to take them off. Wool is naturally antibacterial and needs very little washing so you can wear them several days before washing. Machine washable on 30deg delicate cycle with approved wool wash.

Such a nice and high quality garment
I love it!!! One of the best investments in clothing I’ve made in my life. It keeps me warm on cold days and cool on warm ones. I don’t sweat and it feels so so soft. I actually wash it together with all my other clothes but when I take it out of the washer, I just give it a little stretch with my hands and it leave it to dry and it’s perfect!

warmest softest vest I possess
This is a lovely garment though you have to pull it back into shape while its wet. I only wash it at 30 degrees on the SILK wash. It will need stretching quite a lot but then it dries fine and it is warm , light and breathable as wool always is. The Owner of Mutter and Gluck who sent the garment from Germany did so by Express Post and enclosed a lovely letter along with it. European relationships A ok!Recommended.

Beautiful colour
Beautiful, unusual colour. I wish the likes of icebreaker did tops in this more 'grown up' colour ....they tend to be a bit on the garish side, but I prefer the fit & necklines of icebreakers scoopnecks. Still this is a lovely top, slightly thin maybe, but lovely feel & just what I needed. I wish they would do a larger range of thicker, with a bit more elastane 'fit' to them, with deeper scoop necks or even square necks for everyday wear. I would love a deep teal as well! Merino & silk are both great for being breathable and controlling any odour... I now cant stand wearing normal cotton or synthetics because they are so stinky in comparison!

Very cosy
I really warm and comfortable on the skin. A bit long for me as I am only small but otherwise very happy. Only started to wear it this week so not yet tested it for washing.Update. I have now washed the garment a few times and it is fine as long as you follow the instructions on the packet. Hand wash only do not let it near a washing machine. Just purchased a third one as I was so impressed with it.

Love my winter vest so much I've worn it all week!
Unbelievably comfortable. Nice and long so can tuck it in. I was thinking it would be itchy as it's wool against the skin. No it isn't. It's very thin material - you can see through it when held up to the light. It doesn't scratch. It isn't too warm when wearing around the house. It gives that extra comfort when outside in minus temperatures. Great product. I want more colours!! Like natural tones please!

Lovely and warm
Light weight. Soft. Snug fitting. Great length.I love this I’m 5’2” and it reaches my hips. Will keep me nice and warm. Great alternative to kidney warmer / hamaki.

Fabric not as soft as expected
Fabric feels scratchy against skin - had high hopes for softness from description of luxury merino and silk. Subsequently, I cannot wear this as the first layer of clothing, it might be better suited as a jumper, as long as not immediately next to skin. Or perhaps I have sensitive skin.

Excellent quality and fit beautifully
These vests are fabulous quality, made beautifully, finished nicely and fit perfectly. I am a size 10/12. They washed well in the machine at 30 degree wool, these are now my go to vests for warmth.
