I bought this doorbell for the hard of hearing and deaf as my daughter is losing her hearing and cannot hear even with hearing aids anymore. The device was easy to install. It works well but the bell volume isn’t as loud as I’d like, although doubtful she would hear anything less than a siren sounding off 3 feet away. But the light is extremely helpful to her to know someone is at her door. The bell is easy to affix to the door frame or door itself with a super strong adhesive. Will see how long it lasts outside. But there will be no rain or sun hitting it directly, so I think it should hold up well. The bell has a back light that glows around it so you can see it in the dark. We used a short extension cord to be able to secure the receivers at eye level and that works fine. One receiver is on the fireplace mantel which she can see from the living room and kitchen and the other receiver is on the wall above her bed. They are required to be plugged into an outlet. I would like to add 2 more receivers but have not found any additional receivers (sans bell) to buy.

We use this product differently than advertised. We have sons who both play loud instruments. Sometimes we need them to stop playing music and come to do other things, or to stop because other activities are taking place in the house that require some quiet time. We've placed these devices in their rooms in their line of sight, so that they can see the light flash when they're playing. This has been a reliable and effective way for us to communicate with them and it's provided a neat solution for other times when we need their attention as well.Most of it feels pretty well built, but the triggering button feels a bit flimsy. While a light comes on on the switch when it's activated, there isn't really a positive click associated with the button, it just feels like the housing flexes enough to make contact happen with the installed battery. The plug in units feel similarly light weight and the switches kind of vague and cheap.I don't anticipate we'll move the switches on the plug in parts often, so that's probably not much of an issue. Durability of the remote switch remains to be seen.Overall it's a good product for what we use it for, was reasonably priced and worked as advertised out of the box.

Bought this to use outside our college age son‘s door. He’s home from school because of Covid and we were trying to find a way to balance his privacy and us trying to get his attention sometimes when he has his headphones on or is otherwise busy with something. The light/chime box plugs easily into his desk lamp and if he doesn’t hear the chimes because he has his headphones on he usually sees the flashing light. The doorbell is a fun alternative to knocking on the door and shouting for him. Plus I think he thinks it’s fun.There are tons of chime options and you can control the volume as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to use it inside the house to call someone’s attention. We installed the ringer with a command strip Velcro style so that we can remove the ringer at any time, or if need be even move it into another part of the house.Unrelated it’s also kind of a fun thing to use is a prank because you can plug it in somewhere innocuous and repeatedly push the button and set off the lights and chimes.

I like everything about this product except that every few days it reverts to FULL volume default doorbell chime mode. I purchased this set to use as a light only doorbell (sound off). There is a defect in the design that reverts to full volume original/default chime every few days. Both receivers do it, so it's not just a one item defect. Also, the quietest chime is still VERY loud. So this is a doorbell that everyone in the house will hear, from anywhere in the house, even with an extremely large house. Great if you have lost most of your hearing or regularly work in remote corners of your house, but with no real option to lower the volume to a manageable level, it's just too loud for normal people.

For the last two years its been a lot of screaming and pounding at the door in hopes my hard of hearing grandma would answer, disturbing the people on her floor. At times we'd even be stuck outside for 20 minutes! Got this set for her and she now confidently answers the door. Installing was super easy and fast! Only complaint is although it flashes and plays music I kind of expected it to be a little brighter as it blends into the room during a sunny day so youd actively have to watch it

She can hear the chimes when on full blast and has her hearing aids on. But the color lighting up on the receivers is key so she can see when someone is at her door. It is a 1 bedroom apt so there is no problem with signal reaching the units. The product came with both adhesion or screws to mount the push button soit was easy to install.

Pleasant chimes or irritating available your choice. Plug and play. Works in every location in my 1200 sq ft office.Nice looking door bell ringer. Lights could be brighter but it's a great value!

Bought this for my brother n law because he is losing his hearing because of a head injury. He loves it and so do I!! I don’t have to hurt my hand by pounding on his door anymore!!I highly recommend this if you have a loved one who suffers from hearing loss!!Easy to install and has clear instructions!

Funktioniert wie beschrieben, daher gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Da ich viel mit Kopfhörer Musik mache (Gitarre, Bass, eDrums, Keyboard) bekomme ich immer einen halben Herzinfarkt, wenn auf einmal jemand hinter mir steht, weil ich das klopfen nicht gehört habe. Jetzt sehe ich die lustigen Farben blinken und bin vorbereitet.

Genau das, was ich wollte. Lautes Klingelsignal, auffälliges Lichtsignal überall, wo eine Steckdose für die Empfänger ist. Sehr gut.

Super einfach zu Installieren und laut genug für Rentner die ein wenig schlechter Hören. Reichweite ist auch super, reicht aktuell bis ins 2 OG.
