After thoroughly checking out crochet hooks listed on Amazon, I chose this set because of the positive reviews and I am absolutely delighted with them! I was previously using Clover Soft Touch hooks. These are better: the depression in the hook is deeper, so my yarn is not splitting the way it was with the Clover hook; the hooks are absolutely smooth, so yarn does not snag; and they are slightly longer and fit my hand well. The case is a very nice bonus. It holds the hooks, but also provides a large empty pocket and an empty zippered pouch, presumably for stitch markers. One caution: this is an evenly graduated set of metric sizes, begin at 2.0 mm and moving up by 0.5 mm degrees to 6.0. For the most part, they are equivalent to the lettered American sizes, but at least two, C and F, are not the same. The standard C hook is 2.75 mm, for example. The buyer can buy separate C and F hooks, or can see which of the provided hooks comes closest to the required gauge and adjust the stitch numbers in the project if necessary. For example, because the 3.00 hook is about 10% larger, dropping 10% of the stitches should provide the same result as far as width. Dropping 10% of the rows should accommodate the different stitch length. Overall, this is a great deal for really nice hooks.

I have been given a set of ergonomic crochet hooks and case in exchange for an unbiased review. I am extremely happy with the ergonomic crochet hooks and case. The hooks were a great surprise, the comfort of the grip stops my hand from aching when I use them, the shaft is a good length and glides through the yarn very smoothly, the end of the hooks have a good point which makes them easy to push through my work. I have previously paid a lot more for comparable hooks, and have found these ones to be as good. They are also color coded for sizes, which is great as I can quickly identify which sized hook I need to be using. I will definitely be purchasing another set.Coral Bloom
