Great figure, but some accessories are FRAGILE
This is a pretty good figure, though his eyes can look a little creepy. (You can move them from side to side if you take his hair off. Not sure why they thought that was necessary.) My main complaint with this figure is that the extra-thin leather straps they use for some of the accessories is VERY FRAGILE. The Raiders of the Lost Ark version is especially getting old, and leather rots. The belt that holds his holster and whip actually snapped when I was trying to get it on him. So I fixed it, and upon my second attempt to get it on, it snapped somewhere else. And so I fixed that, and very gently tried to get it on him, and the belt buckle snapped out. After I fixed that, the belt loop snapped off. I couldn't do much to fix that, so I tried to put it on without it and it snapped in two other places. I was not yanking it mind you. The leather is just dry, rotting and too thin, and it pulls apart without almost no effort at all. Keep this in mind: even if you get the belt on him OK, it's not going to last. Eventually it'll crack and rot off. There are people selling replacement belts on eBay for as much as $40-90 each! Not a good deal.I wish they had chosen to use a leather-like plastic for the belts and straps instead. It would have lasted a lot longer, and would have been more durable.

Throw me the figure, I'll throw you the whip
Sideshow is pretty much the best company producing figures in the 12" range. The 1989 Michael Keaton Batman figure they released last year is the most realistic looking figure I've ever seen. They tend to be on the pricey side for the everyday collector. This figure however, is much more affordable and is a great looking figure for the price. The box looks good, the display window is clean and the figure lay out in the box looks good. I think the face sculpt looks a bit chubby, other than that this figure is great. The clothing, the stitching in the clothing, the weapons, they all look stellar. I keep all my figures in the box so I can't comment on its articulation or how it looks outside of the box. If you like Sideshow or Indiana Jones then you really should spend the money to get this.***UPDATE***I opened this, years after buying it. I wanted something cool in the 1/6 scale to display, this figure is much better out of the box. I spent a good 2 hours posing this, moving the pants and jacket and belt all into a position that looked natural and realistic. Worth it, in certain lighting and poses, this looks real.

Great Indy collectible with lots of accessories and posing options.
This figure is simply amazing. The amount of detail is awesome and this is one of the best renditions of Harrison Ford's face I have seen. The figure comes with a few accessories including a revolver as well as a .45. The revolver's chamber can even be opened and there are six tiny bullets in it. He also comes with a satchel and the golden idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The package also has alternate hands and head as well as a posable whip as well as a coiled whip. The only negative is that the strap that holds the coiled whip on his belt seems to have lost the mini magnet that snapped. This is a great figure for any Indiana Jones fan.

Looks MUCH better out of the box
I gotta say the pics didn't do this one justice. Sideshow did an excellent job on their Indy. Even when you look at him in the box it's a bit underwhelming. Then I took him out and started posing and accessorizing him...and he's pretty fantastic. The head sculpt is much better than the pics let on. His pose-able whip in just awesome. Two guns, coiled whip, hat-less head and extra hat and treasures too. The only complaint I could come up with is that his joints could have been tighter. He's a bit on the floppy side. But he's rocking the whip-swinging pose in my display cabinet and my step-daughter was like 'Indy!' when she saw him. So that's a pretty positive review in my book.

this toy made my son happy
I bought this toy for my 10 year old son. He is really "into" Indiana Jones. The figure is very realistic looking and durable. The only thing he did not like was the fact that the hands come off so that you can change them (there are several poses included for the hands). To solve this, he picked the ones he liked and super glued them in. He is now twelve and has the figure displayed on his dresser. I think he will have it for a long time to come, truly a keepsake...

Great gift for big Indiana Jones fans
By far the most realistically detailed facial qualities (of Harrison Ford) that I have ever seen on an action figure of this price. Well worth the price if you want an extremely detailed item for any fan of the Indiana Jones series of movies. The additional accessories allow a lot of modification to stylize for different movies in the series. This one is going into a Plexiglas display case.

Paint apps suck but great figure.
Well, technically, the body used sucks too but with a few upgrades, this can be an amazing figure. I have two of this one and one of the HotToys Indys too.I've also used spare heads from this figure to make Deckard (Blade Runner) and Han Solo. You just need to be willing to strip the crappy paint and repaint it.
