8GB Multifunctional Voice Recorder - Portable Rechargeable Digital Audio Dictaphone - MP3 Player

I bought this to record the lectures in my EMT class, and I am glad I did. The sound quality is exactly what I had expected from a recorder; you're not going to get studio quality out of something like this, but it is pretty clear. It came with a charger, headphones that were pretty decent, a clip on mic, and a device through which one could record phone conversations through a wired land line. I have not had the opportunity to try the latter two inclusions. It has a lot of features that I am still figuring out but frankly all I need and that interests me is record and play. The display is back lit making it easy to read, and it's been really easy to use and helpful in my studies. The only thing that was a little weird that I overlooked was that you have to turn the device on while charging it or it will not charge. There is a note on the protective plastic on the back, I totally missed it. After school I plan on using it to make patient notes during my runs to make it easier to fill out my report later. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little recorder. Not only is it very user friendly, but the quality and clarity of the recordings are superb. I have used this as a standard voice recorder using the integrated microphone, as well as a recorder for my business line using the external microphone jack, and am equally impressed with the results. My only complaint is with the lack of user documentation. There should be more details or a user manual that describes the different MODES and File Formats that this device will support. All in all, a very good buy for the money...

It captures recorded sounds surprisingly well considering its build, as well as the cheap price, I wouldn't suggest doing any sort of professional recording work with it, or try to record anything at a greater distance, but for personal memos or for recording a conversation it works perfectly.Most noticeably the recorded sound has little to no direction to it, contrary to what the dual mic design might suggest.It feels incredibly cheap, so if you are expecting anything with a decent build quality I would suggest avoiding this product, especially the plastic over the mic. It is a cheap recording device, and there is really nothing that has been done to cover this fact up.All in all it is a decent device for audio recording with a couple of flaws which may be quite significant depending on your intended usage purpose.

Really cheap and flimsy design. Recorded audio was of terrible quality. Figuring out the controls was more difficult than it should be. Just turn on and press record, right? Not exactly. The box was so generic that it really turned me off. I returned it and bought the Kissmart 8GB recorder/player and never looked back. The Kissmart has a much easier time recording and playing back audio, without the over-complicated displays. Quality was better and the price was almost the same.

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to set-up and figure out this device with poorly written, misworded, and probably the worst of lack-of-information for an instruction manual I've ever seen. Not only that, I've recorded 5 different files and have tried to transfer them onto two different PC's with two different Windows platforms; XP and 2000. I have not been successful at finding these files, nor the device. This is clearly a poorly constructed product and an absolutely awful instruction manual. I would highly suggest a different product.

I think the instructions that came with this device stinks. Doesn't give any information how to download music on to it or anything Very nice in other respects but how the hell are you able to make use of all functions on this device with the piss poor user manual that came with it which is A Big Fat Joke. Can't supply better instructions than that than you can take your device and stuff it.

I changed my rating from a 5 to a 1 "Awesome, i use it all the time", it was awesome until it just stopped working about 6 months after I used it. I had so many recordings on it and have no way of getting them off. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Find them hard to use - but I'm technically challenged, so it could totally be me.
