A very good rolling backpack
I recently returned to the U.S. from international travel to Asia and resolved to get a better backpack. I bought this because it rolls but it can also compact down to about 4 inches high (on one end) to 8 inches high (on the wheeled end) to fit under even the smallest Asian airline seat. I had a dinky space but this would have been half in-half out from under the seat in front which seems good enough for the airline.Pros:* 2 wheels makes it thinner than 4 wheels* Zip-able compartment to seal away backpack straps (nice)* 2 zip-able pockets for boarding passes, passports in addition to 2 mesh bottle holders* Suitcase style handle for carrying* Both padded pocket and padded separate compartment for multiple laptop computers* 3 main compartments can be locked with 2 standard TSA mini locks (see photo)* Solid, zip-able, long lasting, single bar towing handleCons:* No felt lined laptop computer pocket* No small, shallow (felt-lined) top pocket for phone, wallet and small items to make it easy to empty/refill pockets going through TSA airport security* No clothes holding straps in the main compartment* Front small item compartment is basic (no zippered or Velcro pockets)* No USB phone charging power portI’ll soon travel on a local 3-night stay and test drive this backpack. It fits! In the other photo, you can see that it’s full but not snug or tight (zippers move freely). That’s 2 jeans shorts and 1 long jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, travel-size everything, pjs, mini bathroom bag, even a travel size dental water sprayer, a MacBook Air, 20ft extension cord, a swim shirt and swim trunks. (It had to be strategically packed; I couldn’t just toss it in there.) But, yes, 3 days of clothes with all the trimmings. For an airline flight, I would pack much less and make it thinner. It seems well-built but I caution against over-packing. If you overpack, it will not fit under an airline seat and the zippers and seams will tear sooner or later.

Edited review: product replaced and is greatly improved! Love this backpack!!
Update: Seller contacted me and is replacing backpack for no charge! Great customer service!Love this backpack because the compartments are perfect and I love the ability to convert from backpack to rolling bag. I use it for travel in airports and for work. The updated bag has stronger zippers and more durable wheels. Basically, the small flaws I had with the original bag were all fixed. Bag is perfect!******I love this backpack SO much, but sadly the zipper (to hold in the shoulder straps when converted to a rolling bag) broke within 5 months. Additionally the wheels have multiple flat spots so now the backpack rolls awkwardly and is LOUD.I travel about twice per month and use this bag for flying. I roll it through airports and then convert to a backpack when I am in uniform during my travel. (So it's not like I put a crazy amount of miles on this thing.)I really wanted to love this because the pockets are perfect, the compartments are perfect, and it's comfortable. But sadly, I may have gotten a defective product or those two things just don't last.

Pretty much does as needed...
I usually end up bringing heavy laptops and other miscellaneous items to and from work each day and was finding that lugging a bag around on my shoulders was causing me back and neck problems. I travel relatively often and also wanted something I could take for work or pleasure and easily fit under a seat back or in overhead. After a bit of research I came up with this item, as it seemed to fit my needs and was relatively inexpensive. Having used a traditional laptop bag before, I know from experience that if the wheel base of the bag is not wide enough, you'll run into problems with bag stability, so that was important to me.This item arrived as advertised and when promised from the seller and fits my needs well. It is stable when packed and upright, unless you pack too many items in the front two pouches; it's designed to have heavier items like laptops in the back to help distribute weight, I guess. I have gotten a large tablet, two laptops, lunch, a clothing item and the usual detritus I carried in a bag, including a pouch with all my cables etc, easily into this bag.I like that the handle extends far enough up that the bag doesn't hit you in the back of the foot when you're walking, which can be an issue. It also has a handle on top so you can just pick the bag up from the top when you want to go up or down stairs, or pick it up and put it in the footwell of the car. I won't use the backpack shoulder handles much, so that part is super convenient for me.The only small complaint I have about this item is the quality of the wheels. They are not what I would call high quality and the first time out walking across the smoothly paved parking lot at work I got a small stone caught inside the wheel. The impact made the bag very heavy to drag and noisy when pulling it along, as one wheel was effectively skidding across the pavement. After some finagling the wheel when I got home, I managed to flick it out... only to have exactly the same thing happen the next day, with the same result. I have oiled the wheels with WD40 to make sure there is nothing else causing the drag, but am still having issues with small items getting caught up.To be clear, I am only using the bag on smoothly paved surfaces, but these obviously get small stones etc brought in by vehicles, so I was surprised to find they are somehow attracted to these wheels and getting stuck in there. The wheels themselves are not as sturdy as some I've seen or what you'd get on a spinner suitcase, so I am slightly concerned they will just wear out / run out of tread in a relatively short time, before the bag itself is ready to be 'retired'.Overall though, I'm happy that this bag does what I'd intended it to and is pretty good value for what I paid.
